I had surgery on my toe. My doctor couldn't figure where a small disk like piece of bone came from. I am now a retired nurse. I went and while recovering studied and found we have small disk floaters between some joints. And just figured that may be what it was. The doctor didn't have a clue.

the staff at a children's hospital were watching a taped / replay Utah Stars game while doing an in-arm heart catherization on me in Dec 1971- someone forgot a clamp when they cut a vein/artery to insert the dye injector to slide up into my heart... they all got a good laugh out of it, I was aghast ! They apologized for scaring me, said something like that happens once in a while... George Veasy was the Dr.. I was just looking at the stitches on the inside elbow on my right arm today... All I remember before it happened was some mention of Zelmo Beatty ...

I’m super curious. Maybe a Giant cell tumor?
@alisonwilson632
@alisonwilson632 6 месяцев назад
Could be a calcium tomorrow, usually benign, ive had them myself otherwise known as tumoral calcinosis quite a rare disease....usually found around joints in fingers toes but also have been found in wrists knees and spine. Can be due to malfunction of parathyroid gland causing hypercalcaemia that then relocates and calcification occurs in around joints.

That was amazing doctor! Side note: pt shouldn't be on the phone, it's a distraction from what you're doing and the instruction given. All cell phones should be off. Just my opinion. I come here to see and hear what you do¡! Thank you.
