Luna was born in a circus,(traveling "zoo") and the mother stopped feeding her. The circus didn't have the finances to try to save the kitten. *Viktoria has had the kitten since it was 8 days old.* You can read Luna's story, on the "HOME" page of "Luna_the_panthera."

the horses ARE afraid of her, they recognise her as a predatory animal. the chestnut (which I assume to be the lead horse in the herd) never takes its eye off of the panther. even places itself between the grey and the panther, to protect the other horse. this isn't amazing or cute - it's dangerous.

Потому что и те и другие, рождены в неволе. У Луны, так вообще я вижу повадки собаки. Когда она к лошади подошла и испугавшись пузом к верху легла. Это чисто собачий метод. 🤓 Кошка, воспитанная собакой. Кошки, когда охотятся и воспринимают объект как цель, никогда такое не выдадут. Но, что удивительно, животные очень добрые. Непреодолимое желание их затискать, загладить.

Venza is a "she", and was Luna's "surrogate mother" from the time when Luna was a tiny kitten, and had been rejected by her birth mother. They are lifelong and inseparable best friends. 🙄

Luna is as much a part of Venza's pack as the humans. Venza protects her pack, regardless of species. They are all her family & are worthy of her protection.

Animals are animals by instinct, not wild. Wild is a human misconception. Any animal can be "wild", humans included. It's the context where they live that makes the difference, not the species. According to a study, the most deadly animals to humans have been: 1 - mosquitos (750k victims per year) 2 - humans (440k victims per year) 3 - snakes (100k victims per year) 4 - dogs (35k victims per year) Note #2 and #4 are not considered 'wild' but there they are anyway.

@@miks564 Silly logic, sorry. "Wild" refers to how domesticated they are as a species in general, as well as how strong their non-domesticated drive, instincts and capabilities are. This is not a "misconception". One individual big cat can be more domesticated than others from the same species yes, but as a species on the whole they still have a higher degree of intrinsic genetic "wild" instincts/requirements. Ask yourself why they have to keep the cat on a leash with a tracker collar, and the dog not?

@@Snowenj That's precisely the difference. I don't agree with that intrinsic genetic 'wild'. Intrinsic genetic is what the animal is, nothing more. Of course I don't know why they keep a collar on Luna, but I can guess that's because she's harder to train and obey to commands than Venza. And that's not because Luna belongs to a 'wild' specie and Venza is a 'domestic' dog, but simply because she's a cat and Venza, a dog.

Так вот он рассказал, что крупные кошки, которые приучены к выполнению команд, понимают и слушают их, менее импульсивны в своих действиях. Зная некоторые команды, которые у них работают на подсознательном уровне, они как бы сами себя контролируют. То есть там где не приученное к выполнению команд животное, будет действовать импульсивно как обычные кошачьи, у животного приученного к командам сразу встаёт своего рода конфликт желания и запрещающей команды и первый импульс гасится и животное ведёт себя более спокойно и контролируемо! Ну так во всяком случае рассказывал человек, который большой период жизни занимался дрессировкой львов и тигров.

А ещё интересно то , что Луна переворачивается на спину перед тем кого боится (лошадку) доя того что-бы было легче брюхо вспороть при нападении )) котики они такие )))

Actually, to me she looks afraid; haven’t seen her hissing much before... And all those bugs were also annoying her... and when she gets scared, Venza comes running to “defend” her! I think she’s going to need more exposure to let her fear of these large animals dissipate more.

Scared cats never display sweet vibes. They show aggression as a defensive measure. It almost seems we haven't seen the same video here. 😊 Wild predators might consider anything as potential lunch. Luna is a house cat.

@@miks564 lol, that’s pretty much what I said. I agree. She needs more exposure to lose fear of these non-threatening horses... When you are hungry as hell and don’t know where your meal is coming from, her hunger would override the fear-but why take any risks with animals bigger than you when you know your nice mommy is going to hand you some salmon slices with no risk🤣🤣
