I guess I'm a "hopeful agnostic", but I'll tell you one thing if I may: if there's a god, and there's no animals there, then I don't want to be in that place either with such an unjust god. No sir, count me out. 100% I'd rather go where the animals go, wherever that would be, even if that means nowhere. My HOPE is that there is a just god that cares for all souls, and that you'll see your furry loved ones there too, as I will mine. Amen.
The wife and I adopted a cute little panther princess 15 years ago, just a few weeks before Halloween. She's a special baby and has the sweetest disposition to this day!
❤I fostered orphaned kittens for 10 years when I worked at the Humane Society. Nothing in this world can ever bring me more joy than taking care of these precious lives and helping them eventually get adopted into loving forever homes!❤❤❤❤❤❤
I had the pleasure of growing up with, and serving (!) a little panther called Chloe for 17 years. She was cute, independent and very intelligent...and she's very much missed 🐱
A Letter from the Rainbow Bridge Hi, Mom Now that I’ve been across The Rainbow Bridge for a couple weeks, they said I should write a letter home. Sorry, Mom but I’m so busy ‘across the bridge’ that I haven’t thought of home much. They said it’s okay and that you would understand. I hope you do. (I think you will.) Remember that night when I wasn’t feeling very well and we were all crying? I don’t remember much, but I do remember seeing and hearing all of you and feeling your touches and hugs…I remember hearing “we love you” and that one last command of “Go through”. I didn’t know what you meant, so I turned around and walked through the fog that was in front of me. I saw the biggest bridge I’ve ever seen! And so many friends on the other side of it! They were all playing with toys and balls! You were right to tell me to go there! My feet kept moving forward, but my heart kept pulling me back. Your touches became lighter and lighter and I wanted to come back and nudge your hands for more love, but I was overcome by this feeling of curiosity for the happy place over the bridge! My feet started moving on their own, like a gentle breeze was moving them forward for me! I can’t explain it, but I had no doubt that it was the right thing to do! So, I walked across that big, huge bridge by myself! I looked for you, because you’re always by my side, walking with me, but this was different. I didn’t have a collar around my neck or a leash connecting me to you ~ I was ‘free’! Even though you weren’t there with me, I never felt alone! I actually felt like I had a huge cape of love wrapped around my body and the more I walked, the easier it was to breathe! So, I kept walking! And I would feel more warmth in the big hug, so I kept on walking! I eventually made it over the big bridge - I did it by myself, mom. When I got here, all of my new friends greeted me and helped me walk off the bridge ~ it was so cool! They gave me a pair of wings and said that I was now a Guardian Angel! What I’ve learned over these past few weeks has been amazing and nothing like I’ve seen before! We’re all the same up here ~ we all have wings and we all have Forever People to watch over ~ that’s YOU, mom !You’re my Forever Person and I’m your Forever Dog! We had such a great life together and I do miss you a LOT, but please know that I am so happy in my new home across The Bridge! I’ll send you another Earth Angel so you won’t be alone. Give them your whole heart, like you gave it to me. I’ll check in every so often to make sure they treasure your love ~ I always did! When you miss me, think of a rainbow and know I’m on the other side of it, waiting to walk with you again. I’ll always be in your heart. I love you, mom! Time for me to go play SENT WITH SORROW AND LOVE ❤️
My 17 yr old black cat josh left 4 months ago. He was brought home in my baseball hat as a sickly kitten. Hes at the front driveway at the flower guarden where he always enjoyed.
Those of us who have raised black kittens to their adulthood know the experience. We know the joy of raising miniature panthers no matter what size they became. A cat is cat is a cat. One of God's most beautiful creatures. How wonderful!
Understand completely, as I've said in an earlier post our wee cat GIZMO was just a wee ball of fur when we got him, pure black he grew into a fantastic wee animal just done his own thing, slept next to us for years the day he passed away I can honestly say that has been the sadest day of my life, we both miss him so much only someone who has gone through that loss will Understand..but every time I think of him...which is often....I have a massive smile on my face......
When some says they are a cat person. They get judged… I think letting a perfectly evolved predator share your home is quite special. And when they return that love it’s to hard to describe
At last I have found my people!! I have such a soft spot for black cats I can't believe people are still superstitious over them and won't adopt them. That makes me love them more I'm in the process of adopting rescue cats after mine sadly passed away last year and I'm really hoping there's a black cat that needs a home
@@Iamaracoon101 black cats are my favourite cats an ex friend tried to persuade me to get rid of mine because "they're witches cats and very unlucky" my reply was "well I'm a miserable witch anyway so I'm complete with my familiar" 🤣🤣 no prizes for why they're an ex friend 🙄 I hope you get your black kitties and they bring you as much happiness as mine did 😊
@@Iamaracoon101 lol I taught my cat to play fetch and bring his toys to me all I had to say was "where's your mouse, find it" and off he'd go to get it for me to throw. He used to drop his toy mice on my pillows whilst I was sleeping and one particular night he did it I woke up panicking thinking it was real until I realised it was a toy mouse 🤣🤣 I've got a video of him playing fetch. I really miss him he was so loving and affectionate
I rescued a kitten exactly like this one. He grew up and was my buddy his whole life. Turns out he had feline AIDS and I couldn't bear to let him suffer when he started showing symptoms. He made it to 13 years and I buried him in the back yard. I miss him, but I put that energy into making sure other ferals have a safe place to live in my back yards. It's fenced in and they come and go.
I recently adopted two black kittens and one has found her voice and her miaows melt my heart she reminds me of Simba trying to roar like Mufasa and failing 🤣🤣
This made me wistful for the days when my panther, Inky, was just a baby. He's 14 now. Black cats are the absolute sweetest and most lovable creatures. Inky's my everything!
Inky, great name for a black cat. We are animal people. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats. All live inside with us. Glad we have the space and land for them. We have an Orange tabby named Wally, And a Scottish Fold named Twinkles. Because she is "dainty".
I had one too. His name was Shadow. He was 16 when he crossed the Rainbow Bridge in my arms on the way to the ER. I had been giving him insulin twice a day for 7 years and I knew inside the horrible day was approaching, but I am so grateful he did not die while I was at work. A month after he passed and joined my little Tuxedo Tiny I was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic colon cancer. While I am doing pretty good I know I have them waiting for me
I had a panther like this one. I saved her from the streets, and she was my buddy for life. Unfortunately she passed away when she was 2 years old. I also saved two more "panthers" from the streets and both them still live with me and they are my buddies for life. Love them a lot
I had a panther too! She was found alone in a car park attempting to hide herself behind someone's wheel. I adopted her when she was a wee thing and she lived to 16 y/o. When I took her to the clinic for her first meet, I discovered she was a Bombay. Likely purebred. An absolutely fantastic looking mini- panther. She was stunning and aloof. Everything was on her terms, and sometimes she would be cat shacked up in my wardrobe for days on end, just having her way with my winter things. Then she'd reappear on her favorite chair, staring down her cat brother and sister dog and looking upon all of us with contempt and a measured defiance. Then, at some unexpected moment, on hiatus from her usual tradecraft, she'd arrive on my belly or in the crook of my arm, and want cuddles. She didn't solicit much and she was rarely concillatory if you disrupted her MO. I suspect we shared many qualities, and I feel like in every way that matters, we were equals. Her name was Garbo ❤
Such a tiny kitten. What a beautiful video. Before Christmas 2020 I found 2 older black kittens who had been dumped. They were starving and frightened. It took a few weeks before they trusted me enough to pick them up. I was going to give them away As I already have 5 adult cats (3 of them rescues), but then one night they both came in and slept on my pillow ... So now I have 7 cats. 💜💓🧡💕💙
Awe thank you for helping them. You can never have to many cats i think . I have 8. I just adopted my last cat this january. It was an accideent. I hit her with my car and she ran off. I was able to find her the next day and started feeding her winning her trust till i was able to hold her and bring her home. Now she doesnt have to worry about psychos like me hitting her.
@@stepbro4028 I feel like the typical black cat you see in tv and film are of the same breed. What breed is the one in this video? I'm new to kittens :)
I was blessed with having a stray black cat come into my life just as I fully retired. I call him Spook. He has one of the most hilarious and joyful personalities. I live a a street that doesn't have much traffic. He follows me on walks, brings me gifts of mice, chipmunks and birds. I took him to the vet for a check up and care. We agreed that neutering him right now would be a shame since he stays around the area, holds a vigil at night, when its warm, against intruders, lol. He is a blessing.
Ever since I was born my mother give me a kitty that she rescue from the streets and I have to keep the same tradition I'm in my late 60s now if I have lost count but my house doors there always will be open🚪🐈🐱😿⤴️👈 but I do believe that fix them is there too many already and unfortunately not many are willing to adopt them!!!😔👎🏿 also all my dogs have been from the streets 🦮🐕🦺⤴️🥰 thank you Jesus for✝️⤴️↩ letting me have a home to share with them📢‼🙏😻🐕
We had a black half-persian who was put in our care by his mother. We took it as a high compliment. She was staying with the folks across the street and brought him over to our front yard and wouldn't let him go back. She gave him on-the-job-training in the yard: climbing trees, catching bugs, etc. That was back when it was still politically acceptable to keep a functional male cat and let him out at night. He was with us for over ten years and eventually almost every stray cat in the neighborhood looked like him. Finally went MIA. RIP Plato.
Very sweet. My black kitty also tags along when I walk my dog. She loves being outside when it rains, and her favorite spot to plop down and curl up on is a warm shoulder 😆
That gift from God of the most adorable and innocent of all creatures, the kitten. I shall be forever grateful for such a gift! And this little guy is a great example! Thank you!
Yes, but when people get too close to their pet and treating it like it is a human baby and other strange things is eerie! I loved my pets, I played with my pets and yes many pet dogs and cats are better than some people, but my God I would never go beyond the line that my dog is still an animal and not a person!
My ex raised a beautiful black baby, a Persian/American Tabby mix. He grew to become a strong but peaceful creature of amazing intelligence and sweet disposition, but always a little wild like any cat. Harpo became my best friend and helper. I'll miss him as long as I live and hope to meet him afterward.
My little black panther Linus is just like this one. Came to me out of nowhere on Halloween this past year…. 4 months old now and doing great. Love him dearly.
I love the "murder claws" that little kittens have! The claws are bigger than they are! This little guy was soooo small. It's a miracle her(or she) survived! Great job hoomans!
It funny to see babies kittens when after getting neutered with the cones on bigger then their're felt sorry for Blakely needed to wear it for a week and hard for him to eat I should have took it off when he was eating and after put the cone back on 😺😺😺😺
KJV John 3:16-17 " 16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."
Call me sour, I went through this, adopting a baby kitten, (I found her under my bench on the front porch, hissing at everything) raising her, watching her grow, loving her with each passing day. She was a mama three times, until one day she got sick. I spent considerable amount of money taking her to vets. The devastating blow is when one vet told me after all kinds of tests he done, she had cancer. After 13 (human years) I had to put my little "Kitty" to sleep. Yes, a grown man was balling, it was a very hard thing to do. I don't think I can do this again, I can't get attached to another little animal and go through the loss again. All I have is pictures of my "Kitty".
I am sooooo very sorry for your loss. Some people have to go out and adopt, notice I said adopt, right away, like me, and some can not do it again, like my mom. You take your time and if another is meant to be for you God will show you in his time. Again so very sorry for your loss.
I totally understand! You’re not a sour person, just wounded I think. I had a black kitten my husband got me, at what was then called the pound, as a surprise. He had short hair that grew as he did until he had long silky hair. He was very smart. He loved to get on my stomach, put his face toward mine, and turn on his purr motor. I loved it as much as he did. When he was 17, I had his teeth cleaned at the suggestion of our vet at the time who said it was for the health of his liver. He came through the surgery but never fully recovered and died several days later at the emergency vet in an isolette on a weekend. I was totally devastated. I cried and cried and was broken hearted. Also, I felt guilty I had trusted the vet and forever will regret listening to her advice. That was in the late 90s. I’m a huge cat lover and I’d absolutely love to have another since I’m retired. I could baby it even more now with more time. But, I’m afraid to hurt that much again. It scares me. Have thought of fostering. I’m conflicted, so I just don’t know. Again, I do understand you! ❤️
Sometimes having multiple cats helps, that way when one does pass you still have the others there for you and while it doesn't replace the cat it does help. My cats are older and I'm so worried it's almost good to have a young one in the mix
I am also in the panther gang, 6 kittens were left in a box on my nanny's doorstep, I was about 5, and they all got good homes, our panther lived 16 wonderful years Sooty is her name, My Nanny's panther is called Sweep, she got hit by a train and lived easily through that moved house twice and lived to about 13. beautiful memories, Thankyou wonderful felines :)
When that precious little baby was taking its first steps, I found myself saying out loud "YOU CAN DO IT, I BELIEVE IN YOU!"! SO HAPPY IT WAS RESCUED!!! 😺😺😺😺😻😻
My black cat, Chi, was abandoned when he was a kitten... but now he's a panther who brings me joy. This precious kitten should have been my high school's mascot - so strong and mighty!
A black kitten broke into my house when he was the size shown at 2:30. He chose to live here and that was that. Today, four years on, he is a majestic, panther-like black cat and still lives here. I'm glad that he chose this home and our family as his own.
Aw, that's so cute. It's always cool to watch baby animals, including kittens, grow up and figure out how to get around by themselves in the world. I grew up watching two batches of kittens do that same thing---it was fun.
I got my little panther, Howie, at 2 months old and had the pleasure of his amazing company, an absolute joy, never scratched or bit me once and loved to ride around on my left shoulder 🥰 RIP my furry love
Aww that reminds me of when I found a newborn in my old pigeon loft. Her mom was feral and she lost all of her kittens due to environment. She was trap savvy and it took me a years before I finally trapped her and got her spayed. She has a house on my deck now and I’ve cared for her for years. She still won’t let me pet her but she likes to watch me do yard work and bring me presents. I still have her daughter who is now 5 and is a content house kitty. She was such a cute baby!!! That baby is precious too!
I got my first black cat when my neighbor thew her out.I named her shadow she followed me all over.I now have three black a black and white and a white with brown spots also have a black dog with white feet they all get along.my dog protects. The cats like they're her babies.
I also have a completely black cat (even one of his eyes is almost all black, pseudopolycoria) and he was also found as a kitten, in my garden while he was trying to take some leftover food from the compost. At that time I already had 1 dog and 1 other cat, nowadays he's the only remaining one I'm so glad to still have him 💕
We, too, rescued a black kitten from a store parking lot a year ago. Truly looks like a panther now. These all-black cats are Bombay cats. Look up the name - you’ll see dozens black cats whose whiskers, nose and foot pads are solid black.
How adorable this spry little chubster is!! I had an all black rescue Runt, Mr Jones, for last 19+ yrs, whom passed last winter. This is definitely a heartwarming trip down memory lane. Thanx 4 sharing!
Wow! Intense. Just looking one in the eye from a safe 4 ft. away was enough to imprint on my brain - still makes my neck hairs stand up. Can't imagine what it would be like being STALKED LIVE!! Holy cats#!t, Batman!
I've had my void for 6 years and he's the best pet I've ever had. Found him in the woods surrounded by mosquitoes when he was about 5 weeks old. This was around the time the live action Jungle Book movie came out, so I named him Bagheera. He's so playful and attention seeking and can literally be held like a baby. Black cats are the best!
I have a House Panther that walked into my life about 8 years ago. She approached me on my deck while I was doing spring cleaning. Obviously not feral, she allowed me to love on her right away. She would continue to return to a place of recognition after being fed. This happened for about 6 months before I brought her in and she was able to settle in. She was obviously spayed as she is still outside for hours every day and has never gotten pregnant, The fact that someone loved her and threw her away is heartbreaking as she attempted to return to them for months before deciding to adopt me. She has been very health and well-loved ever since. She is getting older now and it shows in her energy level and coat condition. She is Delilah and is the best thing to ever walk into my life.
I rescued my two brother cats at around 4 weeks of age. I had to bottle feed them and also stimulate them to pee and poo 😩 it was hard work, but Soooooo worth it. They were always stinky from milk neck and kitten poop on their fur so I bathed them often. They are now 2 yrs old, never leave my side, and love baths! Everytime somebody takes a bath or shower, they jump right in. I love my boys!
That is real awesome that you took care of that kitten and brought That kitten up And gave him love God will reward you for the love that you have gave that kitten
What a darling kitten. You can tell she is smart. she grow up to be a lovely panther. It’s wonderful. She had such kind parents to raise her. Who knows what might have happened.
