Beautiful soap 😍 ! I always failed trying this technique. I try to soap at temperatures between 95 and 80 degree Fahrenheit. It usually thickness too quick for me. Should i soap at a lower temperature ?
Thank you very much ♥ Temperature is not the only thing that matters. I think its fine. My temp. is also around 80 degrees F. The recipe is important! What is the ratio of solid to liquid oils? Next, what scent do you add, doesn't speed up trace? With this technique, the most important thing is to have a long liquid trace. Maybe you mixed the batter for too long? All you have to do is pass it through the mixer a couple of times, the rest by hand or with a whisk and observe whether the oils separate from the lye. It takes patience and not rushing. You have to reach STABLE! emulsion not traces! I'll be happy to advise, feel free to write. Good evening 😍
Thank you very much for your comment ♥ My mold holds 1800 grams of soap. The dimensions are 5x10x34 cm. I divided the soap batter by eye. About half was white and the other half was divided into thirds and colored with colors. It should work out.
