That epic last duel though! Anyways, Lunalights are back in 2024 and we'll be ready for Superheavy Samurai when they come! That said, this run to Master was absolutely dominated by Dragon Link, Branded, Stun, and a decent amount of Vanquish Soul (at least for me). I had a bit of trouble around D2-D1 (demoted once from D1 to D2 being one win away from Master) but second time I got back to D1, I blitzed my way to Master easily versus a ton of Branded players. Depending on the event that Konami seems to prepping for this month, we may do an event video or another edition of OTK Showcase with some new duels so stay tuned for that.
I always appreciate your dedication to your favorite deck. I'm the kind of person that loves all the art for so many archetypes and I play so many different decks that I don't even really have a pet deck except maybe Nouvelles since the ritual festival? I kinda want to dedicate myself to one deck for a long time just to see how it goes but who knows whether I'll actually stick with it. Anyways, awesome duels :)
I actually do play and like other decks: HERO, Synchron, Salamangreat. I just enjoy Lunalight more since it is so versatile in builds while all being fun. Thanks for watching!
Always love to see Lunalight OTKs, especially with Panther Dancer. She doesn’t get to shine as much with Leo Dancer being such a big powerhouse, but whenever she does get to dance on an entire field of monsters, I’m happy :) Though seeing Leo Dancer demolish is always great to see! The opportunities to shine steadily decrease for Panther Dancer as the meta decks steadily get more and more power crept but she does have her chances here and there. Lunalights do need more support to keep up but for now, we're doing pretty fine for ourselves.
It's a good deck and a good card. Oh my god, the Serena deck is implemented so well, this wonderful fusion, and this wonderful Serena voice!! It's amazing. Serena handles the moonlight monsters that are pulled by the moon's gravity. It's beautiful. This video is Serena's charm point! ❤

Yeah I don’t play Duel Links but I heard Lunas used to be super dominant there. It is a fun deck to play around with, especially in lower powered formats. Glad you are having fun with it.
I always love seeing you and others that continue to dominate with these anime decks and absolutely love it! Admittedly, I’m starting to get worried that Branded might be hit soon since so many people are using it and I absolutely adore the deck, but I guess it’s bound to happen. Haha thank you for your continued support, it means so much! Branded looks like the contender for second best deck after SHS drops, can see a lot of people pick it up after nerfs to other decks but we’ll see.
Sabre Dancer is a bad card. You need 3 Lunalights specifically, it only has a meager ATK boost and its GY eff is not able to be activated until the turn after it is sent to the GY. Too slow, doesn’t provide utility, doesn’t help OTK. Guardian Chimera is much more generic and worthwhile running.
I really do wish this deck worked as well IRL as it does in the videos. I've lost count of the number of times my opening hand was Sheep, Poly, Ash, Called By, and a Kaiju. A large number of players are running go-second decks nowadays, and in this format Bagooska -> Pass doesn't cut it. Neither does Evilswarm Nightmare. I've had to run a small Phantom Knight engine, so there's a couple of Fog Blades are there to back up Bagooska when it gets outed.
The deck unfortunately just can't keep up nowadays in TCG. 1 Tiger still hurts the deck, it relies on 2-3 card combos, Bystials hard counter us, I would consider trying it with Tearlaments, Horus, or Orcust maybe, the deck really needs some support to cut it.

@@ahitomax Droll is the only answer I see as we just get FTK’d or they get to an insane negate board and we lose anyways. 🥲🥲 SHS is custom cards worth of busted.
A good srart in the new year. The last duel was cracy good. My climb was almost the same. Soo many Branded and Vs. Lets see what the new year in Md bring, especaliy with the 2 anni coming.

It made me really want to play the deck 😊 Seeing the change in the meta post banlist that is coming with opponents who leave strong fields like manadium or SHS, do you consider other board breakers?
Droll will be the main thing to consider (forcibly so) as these decks don’t really die to much else and their boards are insanely formidable otherwise. Droplet will still be the primary board breaker.

The first video of the year for Lunas certainly was a good one. Always fun to watch Panther and Leo Dancer swing over and over again. But when did Guardian Chimera become a Lunalight Fusion monster? Great video as always brother!
Moonlight Chimera Beast, the best Moonlight monster 😍. I'm pretty sure it's the cousin of my Frightfur Chimera Beast in my Frightfur deck. 😂 I like when a battle goes as simple as "summon-attack" like the one with Panter Dancer againts the lovely and not seen ever before Dragon Link deck.
Love blasting the meta decks for sure. I have never played Superheavy personally but I'm not typically a big fan of the meta decks so I'll have to say no to that I suppose.
If I was gonna do a TCG build, I'd probably do Lunalight Horus Tearlaments. The deck unfortunately is pretty bad right now, needs a lot and needs Tiger to be unlimited, at least 2.
@@royalvandyke I just got try, and the result is funny if blue cat got ash combo end there since no marten in GY LOL but if it go though we will got Baron at 4th summon but yeah more brick so not really work well
