That means so much to me, I really really appreciate your kind words! 😁Can't promise you exactly when I'll have new music out, but I am currently working on recording a single, an EP, and full length. Each will have playthrough videos associated with them
@@thomascampbellmusic are you guys into Wicked Innocence's Omnipotence by any chance? I get a bit of a similar vibe albeit with a far more Lykathea Aflame/Sutrah sort of delivery and tonality. Also what's the songwriting process like? I enjoy how detailed everything is.
@@FunerealObsession I have not heard of that band, so it is not a personal influence of mine. I'll have to check them out though! Writing is mostly done through sharing guitar pro files, but Brandon and Kyle do work together in person from time to time. I personally do not write music with my instrument in hand, I write my parts in guitar pro, and then teach myself the parts later. Thanks for the interest! :)
@@thomascampbellmusic the album is on bandcamp! Should be easy to find. Interesting, would you say using guitar pro lets you make the songs on this EP a lot more elaborate and multi-sectioned than say, jamming it out?
@@FunerealObsession I absolutely think that writing music via midi allows for more creativity, it was a really huge game changer for me! I also did that with my parts for Alcyone's album, and the upcoming Progeny EP.
I'm not well versed in your genre of music, but I liked it! Very cool how the middle register notes poked through the general mayhem. Good effort! I'll look for more.
Bass line even harder than in "Spirit Body and the Seeing Self". Flawless playing! And congrats with debut EP of your band! Hope next time it will be LP :)
Thank you so much! I actually find Spirit Body to be more difficult to play overall! 😁 Our first LP is very far into the writing process, and we are MUCH more excited about it than the music on the EP :)
@@thomascampbellmusic interesting. Sometimes some instrumental parts look way more difficult that they really are and vice versa. Especially for person who don't know this instrument in detail.
@@Infyzorii True, and we're also all very different with our strengths and weaknesses! If every bassist on earth learned both songs, there likely wouldn't be a consensus as to which is more difficult to play.
How in the hell did the neon vinyl sell out already. How am I always seconds late? Anyway, I fucking love you guys. Please tour somewhere in Wisconsin.
