No matter how hard Gemini is talking to Lunar they still care for him, and that is some hope to hold onto. Gemini \ Caster and Pollex have really been the only people Lunar has interacted with other then Earth. Plus growing romantic feelings for them did not help their split. Lunar is not just losing a friend, he is loosing a crush and a mentor. All that being said, the ending was sick! Nebula is such boss!

I knew Lunar would get in trouble for killing Eclipse. He didn't do it accidentally, and he didn't do it out of self defense, he just outright killed him. And to the Astral Bodies, that's bad.

As harsh as it was Gemini had some good points. Lunar refuses to move on and is stuck. He acts like a child and gets mad when the others treat him like one. And yeah he was pretty selfish killing Eclipse, knowing what was on the line. He needed this call out to wake up. Gemini was right no one wanted to confront him and hurt his feelings except them. Lunar you are so very screwed and you have no one to blame but yourself.

This episode hit HARD for me. As a person who struggled like Lunar has (except the killing), it SUCKS to hear what someone you care about is giving you the truth. Personally, I think Gemini is justified in getting this angry, they TRIED over and over again and Lunar wastes it. Now he has to face the consequences and Gemini can only sit back and watch, try and fight but not be able to change anything. Gemini has TRIED to help Lunar. Though I will say... I don't know how I feel about Lunar's situation. Gemini made some VERY good points. He really should have gotten the help he needed, he does act childish, he did avoid the problem until it was too late. But I also hold Moon and Solar acountable to an extent. They're the ones that agreed to let Eclipse help and roam the pizza plex. They knew there was a chance of an encounter, and as family to the person Eclipse tortured the most, they should have made more percussions to keep Eclipse away. HOWEVER I also understand they tried to do that by making Jack. Honestly I was hoping he stayed near Lunar so he could go mop the floor with Eclipse. But it is what it is. I don't know, i understand everyone's perspective on this.

I interpret Lunars self sabotage as a coping mechanism. He is most familiar with the hurting feelings, the ones that keep him from truly being happy. So he keeps them close, they're comforting. So is the idea of Eclipse being better, which is why he misses him. It's a lot, abuse can drastically change a person. Honestly I love the idea of Gemini not understanding it because of how complex these feelings are. Lunar can barely explain it so he just willows in it, he takes it in, he appreciates the pain. Even though he wants nothing more than to feel better. But if he doesn't think he deserves it, or if he took eclipses words truly to heart, he won't wanna get better. I think I love how Gemini handled this :) A character struggling to understand complex feelings, are feeling disappointment, pain, and hope for someone else. It's a beautiful relationship from a story perspective and I appreciate it.

Tbh, I need a Lunar villain arc Also, Lunar got told nothing but the truth. Yes, he was a victim of abuse, but that doesn't excuse his actions. What you guys are saying is almost equivalent to "Eclipse's choices were made because he has trauma and was left behind," which just isn't true. The choice Lunar made was irrational, and he decided to do it out of vengeance, as confirmed. Just because he has trauma doesn't mean he doesn't need to face consequences. Gemini was right about what they said, and yes, it may have been harsh, but it's what he needed to hear. It was about time he got called out for his behavior. Sure Lunar has his reasons for killing Eclipse but to be honest, Eclipse asked for a favour, not touching Lunar or hurting Lunar. Lunar did it out of anger and even said he would do he did it on purpose, Gemini was right, Lunar has been acting childish, but whenever he is treated like a child he gets angry. His emotions are confusing and he can’t handle certain things. Fun fact for those who don't know.. age regressing, the thing Lunar sometimes experiences, if I recall correctly is either a comfort method or a *literal trauma response*, your brain wants to go back to the time when you were happy, when you were laughing and full of joy.. it wants to escape the torment and torture, the suffering that the present day may hold. I don't blame Castor and Pollux, and by proxy Gemini, for not knowing. But.. they are kind of being jerks about it.. Lunar messed up, big time, but hes already in a fragile mental state as it is.

I understand that Lunar definitely needs this conversation and Castor, Pollux/ Gemini had some good points. Lunar does act like a child, and lunar is not the main character, but they came out a very bad time, and there are some things they don’t have the right to be talking about like lunar feelings towards eclipse yes they are complicated, but they can’t be talking when they barely understand the basic human emotions of happiness, sadness, anger, and disgust, and they probably don’t understand the sub genres of those emotions, and those sub genres have their own sub genres so on and so forth they were also very harsh with the conversation, and the name-calling was uncalled for again, they had good points, but they really should’ve waited a while before confronting lunar and they definitely shouldn’t have been so harsh

Honestly, I think what Gemini said is true. Lunar needs therapy. Gemini is trying really hard to keep him alive because they care about him. Earth is traumatized from watching Eclipse get killed by Lunar. I think she needs someone to talk to her too. I feel bad for Lunar because of his past about Eclipse. But he can’t just keep pushing people away, Especially over the fact that his life is on the line.

Oh god. This is the first episode- in all of tsbs- that I have cried over. I relate to Lunar in many ways and I understand what he means and how he’s trying to articulate that and failing to. I disagree with people saying Lunar needs to be coddled. Lunar murdered someone in cold blood and it doesn't mater what you justify that with. Sun will probably be the one to comfort Lunar because he knows exactly what that's like. I really hope the writers won't take too much what the comments are saying here, because Lunar is a huge hypocrite of a character (and I like it it adds so much dimension to him) Like people who legit say they're glad he killed his abuser actually make me physically ill.

I'm scared on what Sun and Moon are gonna say about this. I know Lunar was mad after everything Eclipse did, but he needs to learn how to control himself a bit more. Plus, what if it ends up like Sun's situation? He could start hallucinating and seeing him, which just makes things worse. Lunar could have handled the situation a bit better, so Gemini was right in this situation. He needs to actually get help. I'm afraid I'm gonna have to agree on what Gemini said.
