"I am walking through the valley of the shadow of your name". Jesus Christ - has any song in the history of earth opened with a more impactful lyric? The whole song is just a work of art.
sorry to be so off topic but does anyone know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account? I stupidly forgot my login password. I love any tips you can give me!
I've known of Riverside since accidently hearing them on LastFM Radio back in 2007. Loved them ever since!!! Just saw Riversides Wasteland Concert back on May 10th in Philadelphia...AWESOME
Lyrics Are Here: I am walking Through the valley of the shadow of your name It's been another after-life-time Since you left me here this way How about a little game of chess How about we roll the dice What can I do Where should I go now I want to look into your eyes Drifting in the state of limbo Condemned to idleness Listen to the sound of distant memories Passing through the white hourglass Just wandering around Looking for the way to my home I've lived someone else's life Waiting for the perfect moment I've lost all track of time What can I do Where should I go now I want to look into your eyes Listen to the sound of distant memories Passing through the white hourglass In the middle of light and darkness In the middle of bright and shade I was trying to afford your kiss I was trying to escape Now I'm the soul Banished to everlasting wanderings
Absolutely stunning...I just bought the CD (yes, CD...better audio quality, thank you very much). Marius rates up there with the greats. Only the cool people find Lunatic Soul/Riverside. ;)

The whole album is about a lyrical subject who experiences death and what happens after, so, it continues the main topic of the first release. There doesn‘t seem to be a happy ending. The lyrical subject lived someone else‘s life, was too focused on other things why he wasted all his lifetime. He yearns for a beloved one (I want to look into your eyes) he left to escape from life/reality (I was trying to avoid your kiss). He regrets his decision to run away (he committed suicide?) and realizes the huge mistake he made. But now it‘s too late, he can‘t go back to life, he stuck into limbo (pre-hell), neither paradise nor hell. Between life and death he still tries to find home or a place where he belongs to, but he’ll never arrive somewhere. So, he can‘t rest in peace, his path is an endless cycle. His soul‘s banished to everlasting wanderings. (sry for bad english, I‘m german :) I‘m just really hooked on the lyrics, love analyzing stuff for some reason and wanted to share my thoughts ❤️)
Yes, he committed suicide 😢. He talks about it in the song "Transition." "So after all The last thing that I saw Were the waves crashing violently on the shore." Seems like he jumped off a cliff into the sea.
I've been walk-in through this life time, without anymore signs of you.. You know that life is feeling kinda of cold and gift kinda stale.. I hope you are all treating your spouses correctly.. Peace and love everyone..
