Waa. You really love all the Malay cuisine and can name them. I cannot eat petola because I kena perut berangin lps mkn. Ever since that incident, I didn't consume it anymore. I am glad your kids love the food. You and your family are truly Malaysians. Amazing family. 😊❤
I berasal negeri Kedah, so grew up among many Malay friends. Most Chinese there speak BM with loghat utara. I think petola is high in fiber, so susah nak hadam... that's why can kena angin. Don't worry, petola is only one dish... at Syazana they have soooooo many choices! Hehehe. Jemput makan.
@@pishedbloke I am also Kedahan, Alor Setarian. My Chinese friends can speak utara so well and my Indian friends too. Let us live together harmoniously.
I like the ayam kicap here. Ayam goreng also not bad. The rendang always habis by the time I came. I can only go there after fetching my daughter from school, so quite late, that's why rendang already licin. Western side they have all you can eat breakfast buffet. But I haven't tried the b'fast buffet yet.
I had the kicap from the daging kicap... hahaha so many dishes to choose from! I think they are one of the best nasi Melayu in town. My kids already asking me to go again. LOL
@@pishedbloke yeah I agree. One of the best nasi melayu. Syazana and the nasi Padang minang at transfer road are the best although nasi at transfer road people usually classified as nasi Padang. But I still consider it nasi melayu as well because of the same types of dishes served. Plus I also came from the minangkabau lineage, and I don't really see the differences as much.
Waa, so shiok lah. The amount of dishes there, tengok pun tak boleh tahan. Gua mo makan . 🤤🤤☺️Really can’t wait. Steve always praises your kids.. so easy with food, ‘chin ho seok ‘ 😀
I think it isn't so common for Malay food, although you can just opt to order dishes which do not have meat. Some dishes may use belacan which is shrimp paste, so you may want to ask first if in doubt.
Amazing varieties of Malays food & every dishes looks yummy. I am just concern about food safety since all the dishes are on open display & the customers helping themselves to the offerings. I didn’t see any staff members around to make sure that customers using the offered spoons or thongs to pick up the foods. I saw staff member dishing out rice on plates, but that’s about it. Yes the prices are reasonable & I am sure they are all yummy but I hope the restaurant would look into safety of food on display as they are served in the open display style🍁🇨🇦💐☃️🍁🇨🇦
Actually this is kind of the norm here in Penang, most economy rice and nasi campur stalls are self service. Nasi kandar shops have staff to dish for you.
Nothing better than having the whole family together for a nice meal together. Have always thought Times Square is sleepy but this place is so happening. Thanks for sharing Bro
