In this video, we are sharing with you what we had for lunch at The Cheesecake Factory. This location is at Fayette Mall in Lexington, Kentucky. Complimentary bread & butter is served at the beginning of the meal.
For lunch:
* Ashley ordered: Fried Macaroni & Cheese: “crispy crumb coated macaroni & cheese balls. Served over a creamy Marinara sauce” $10.50
* Kevin ordered: Lunch Fish & Chips: “hand battered and fried crisp. Served with Cole slaw, French fries and tartar sauce” $12.50
* Tami ordered: Lunch Cobb Salad: “chicken breast, avocado, blue cheese, bacon, tomato, egg and Romaine” (I ordered Blue Cheese dressing on the side) $10.95
For dessert:
* Ashley ordered: Adam’s Peanut Butter Cup Fudge Ripple Cheesecake: “creamy cheesecake swirled with caramel, peanut butter, Butterfingers and Reese’s peanut butter cups” $7.50
* Kevin ordered: Caramel Pecan Turtle Cheesecake: “pecan brownie and caramel-fudge swirl cheesecake, topped with caramel turtle pecans and chocolate” $7.95
* Tami ordered: White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle: “creamy cheesecake swirled with white chocolate and raspberry” $7.50
Ashley also ordered a soft drink: $2.95
Our total was $63.44 (before tip)

I think what makes the bill add up quick is the cheesecake at over $7 per. Without desert it would've been about $40 which isn't terrible. Cheesecake is vastly overpriced but so good!!

GSNCards You are right; dessert added a lot to the bill. We normally don't order dessert, but we can't go to The Cheesecake Factory without ordering a slice of cheesecake. That sound be a rule ;)

I work at the Cheesecake Factory and I can tell you all our food,including pasta,pizzas,biscuits,everything is freshly made in the restaurant.We take pride in our food and quality ingredients.Sorry if you and your family think it was expensive.

I totally agree with you on eating somewhere first and then ordering cheesecake! That's what Christopher and I do all the time since we have a Cheesecake Factory attached to our mall. We will go eat at our local Mexican restaurant and spend $14 for both of us to eat, then get a slice of cheesecake for dessert. The food there is very good, I do agree, but the prices are so much I'm assuming because they do give you a lot of it, except for Kevin's poor lunch, that didn't look like much! My favorite cheesecake flavor is the White Chocolate Macadamia with caramel. It is so so so good and rich so I can never finish the whole piece, I end up taking half home!

Reasons like this is why I only go out to eat like maybe once a month. When I go out I easily spend $50-$75 by myself with an app, entree, and a 2-3 cocktails and dessert. I find it to be a treat and go all out.

The Cheesecake Factory is my top fav place to go. We usually only go a couple times/yr cuz it is a little pricey. We usually go to celebrate a special occasion. Also to treat my sis in law when she flies in from OK to visit and have made it a tradition after picking her up from the airport. Seeing these CF videos I'm dying for my next fix! But all locations are an hour away :(

I want to try this restaurant. I heard their cheesecakes are delicious. Wow. That was a expensive lunch. I mean that is almost 100.00 dollars. This would be nice for a special occasion like a birthday. I'm glad I watched this. Thanks folks for the review. :)

Cheesecake Factory is for cheesecake. BEWARE any menu that is 21 pages long. Same reason I don't like BJs anymore. Their menu is ridonkukous. You only need to get their deep dish pizza and a pazookie anyway. ;)

This is definitely not expensive especially since I live in England and everything is more expensive here. The food here is good quality and made fresh. A typical meal for a man and desert in the UK is about £25 if you go to a similar sort of restaurant. When we visit my brother who lives in Florida we go here 3-4 times in our 3 weeks as its so good. Love all your food vlogs :)

So funny - I ate there today too. Love their tropical iced tea and flatbread. I throw some chicken on the flatbread and it's amazing. It is a bit expensive but I love them for lunch. I never get the cheesecake. Always stuffed from my lunch and it's too loaded with fat.

I've only had cheesecake at The Cheesecake Factory, and I buy the $25 gift card that comes with 2 free slices (black Friday and mid December deal) which makes the slices $5 each, and I get them to go. Still spendy, but so delicious and worth it. 🥰

I think you guys should try some non-chain restaurants. Small places like that are much better than all these places and not that differently priced that the cheesecake factory. And the environment should be less flamboyant. And honestly, the cheesecake factory's cheesecake is pretty bad, especially when compared to real cheesecake here in NY. Same with pizza. We would never eat at dominos/little caesar, etc. that's just not pizza at all to us.

Hayley Gold Personally I think cheesecake factory as a chain isn't so bad however, I do understand where you're coming from with local eateries. There's this place close to me that sells really good burritos and I mean genuine ones.

I usually go once a year and I know it's a lot but it's a treat. I'm a single person and Go with friends so I just pay for myself. Now if I was dating I'd go their for dessert for sure. Because their dinner price can be 15+ if u don't buy a hamburger while I can get a chicken fried steak for $10 at Texas Roadhouse. It's a good thing it's in Seattle or I'd live at Cheesecake Factory lol

Hit and miss! My winners are: raspberry lemon, lemon meringue, original, Cinnabon swirl, Adam's, mango. Kinds I'd never get again because they sugared me out (and I love sugar!): Hershey's, s'mores. Not enough cheesecake: celebration. Mushy/odd: caramel apple.

Last year my family and I tried going to the cheesecake factory for my dad's birthday, but it was a 6 hour wait! So we left. Also, $8 for a slice is criminal. I would rather take that $8 to the grocery store and buy 2 tubs of ice cream.

Nigel Thornberry I think the wait time depends on the day and hour you go. We had a 40 minute wait, but we walked around the mall and they sent Kevin a text on his phone when our table was ready.

While I love all 3 of the cheesecakes that you guys ordered, Ashley's order was my favorite. Sorry that your cheesecake was lackluster, Tami :( The price for the food has to do not only with some of the oversized food portions, but also the atmosphere of the restaurant. You're paying for everything, not just what's on the plate, haha.

Liz S. Ashley's cheesecake is my favorite, but sadly, I know how many calories it has. The Adam's has 1330 calories and the one I ordered had 930 calories. Honestly, I could go and only order cheesecake, but the want "real food". Ha! Ha!

Cheesecakes seem very good. Nevertheless, I looked at the nutritional information and I find that the slices of cheesecakes are very rich, between 800 and 1000 calories for slices which do not seem big, without counting the meal ... let us say this are the holidays, thus needs to take advantage!!! Otherwise Tami I noticed that your diet is more flexible now?

jacques vanessa I wish it was more flexible. I do indulge on the weekend, but I stick with my plan during the week. The Cheesecake Factory opened in Lexington in late October 2014. We have been saying we wanted to go ever since then, so we went for it. I wish I could eat like that all the time ;)

Another alternative is to take a slice home and have one or two bites a day. The cheesecakes are so rich that a couple of bites will do.

We have all you can eat catfish parlors down here where you get all the fixins/sides and fried fish you can eat for around that price. Cheesecake factory is ridiculously overpriced for what you get

I never understood how people can eat dessert at a restaurant. It's just me personally so I'm not trying to be rude. I usually can't even finish my meal, let alone a dessert. And man that place is expensive.

My hubby and I went twice and was so not satisfied both times. The first time we went the food took forever to come out and when we got it it was cold and we didn't enjoy it at all. We gave it another try and although the food was better it just wasn't worth the money in my opinion. The restaurant is beautiful though.

The cheesecake (not to mention the meals) is extremely overpriced... It should be $2-4 for a slice, not $7+. But like you all said, the food is pretty good.

That's pretty expensive! You can go in and ask for a slice "to go" and then you don't have to pay the tip.

They seat you. You walk up to the podium right inside the door and tell them how many people you have and they will tell you how long it will be and put your name on the list.

I agree it is way overpriced. One slice of regular cheesecake is like $6 or $7... I barely eat there only on very special occasions. I would not say its great but more like mediocre
