Lunch Boxes This Week - 8/15-8/18 

Thank you so much! Sometimes I hear about how I could be feeding them just organic veggies and water for lunch but honestly I want them to actually eat their lunch :)

One trick with the thermos I learned is to soak it in hot water for a bit then dry it off and put your food in :) Stays warmer longer

Thanks. I'm still limited because I still have my 1 year old and my 4 year old is in preschool part time. Still a nice change though. :-)

Hes come a long way he used to drink at least 6 Pepsis or Mountain Dews every day. He has gone cold turkey for months now on all caffeine :) Im not sure if he will ever give up soda completely but he's definitely doing so much better!

A lot of the Denver area schools are starting to with over to a monday thru thursday schedule to save money and make it easier to make up snow days:)

I bought it as a set with a stainless steel water bottle they are Contigo brand and I bought them as Costco for I think $17

RealLifeMillers I got mine from Costco here in Canada for 20 bucks a couple of years ago this year I wouldn't but another one just for backup amazing things they're the only ones that actually keep the soup hot when I sent to school. I heat up the container with hot boiling water well I heat up the soup in the microwave dump out the water and pour the soup in there and close the lid love that thermos and the water bottle is great too

Thank you They usually have every friday off unless they need to make it up due to a holiday or snow day. Some times he finishes his lunch but when he doesn't he brings it home and eats it as an after school snack my little guy is a super slow eater too :)

Sometimes they do and when they don't they bring it home and eat it for after school snack :) I don't believe in wasting food

the whole first year we were together my husband threw the containers away lol! Now he doesn't dare!! I have my kids leave everything including garbage and I just go through it when they get home its just safer that way lol

Some of the Denver schools started having the kids go one hour longer Monday thru Thursday so that they didn't have to go on Friday and the school could save money. plus it really helps when there is a snow day they can quickly make it up on a Friday and won't have to cut into the summer or breaks. Great question!

toddlers dont eat baby food

Zandyr is a toddler but he is disabled so he still drinks from a bottle and eats baby food

RealLifeMillers my youngest daughter who is now going into grade 10 also has a disability . So I get it . We kept some of the baby food and mixed it with chunks of other food just to make sure she get the veggies that she should have she was a toddler . Also some of the baby and toddler snacks she ate well into kindergarten that she liked them and they were healthy

We got a perfect parent over here. 😂
