Lunch with MOE & SUTAN 

It's just a vlog of our daily life ❤️As you know in Tokyo we still have to stay home, so we can be a bit boring, but we try to make fun out of every situation! We're wearing the dress I bought for this summer's outing, covering my usual table with a pretty cloth, and having lunch outside like we're at a resort. She's talking with her daughter like she's an adult. that's probably why Sutan is so eloquent and smart for her age.

the patience Moe has with Sutan..when she asked her not to put the food that fell onto the ground in her mouth, she was just waiting there, patiently with an open hand. not pulling it out of her mouth, or getting angry at her. just patiently waiting, and thanking her once she did give it. this is how all kids should be treated. ❤️

My japanese mother and I watched Kimono Mom during the entire quarentine. It was an opportunity to feel closer to our culture while speding time together. We were even planning of buying some ingredients at the asian market to cook the recipes. Sadly, she died of cancer last week, but I will keep watching your videos as a way to remember her. My mother was sweet as Moe and our relationship really reminds me of Sutan & Moe together. From now on, this channel will be a way to not miss her as much as I miss right now.

I always admire Kimono Mom’s patience and techniques of raising Sutan. The way she reacts when the nori blows off the table and when Sutan spills water over her nice dress. Most people would get upset but she always has a smile on her face and tries to be positive.

The way Sutan has casual conversation for the sake of conversation and refers to herself in the 3rd person is truly remarkable. The way she thinks and engages is all due to Moe and Moto's constant stimulation of Sutan, and concurrently respecting her as a person. This is how parent parent. It is also incredible how Sutan didn't like the mint tea, but tried it again and again because Moe casually and naturally said she liked it, and created a sense of positivity around it. You two look so pretty in your floral summer dresses 😊

My kids love to say 'oishii' after every bite like Sutan since they saw her do it a few months ago. She's such a sweet heart.

Moe sets good examples of being so patient, loving and gentle mom, that's why Sutan feels very secured and happy little girl ❤

Sutan already knows the “5-second rule”….or 10, 20, doesn’t matter. 😆 It was great how Sutan started mimicking “yummy” and drinking the water, when before she didn’t want to drink it. It shows the influence of a happy mother. 😊 What a lovely lunch

When my world is falling apart I just watch a bit of the Sutan & Moe show. Always puts a smile on my face.

whenever I watch these videos, I can't help but think that they're kind of like love letters to Moto. Even though Moto works long hours away from home, these videos help him stay connected to his family and watch his daughter grow up happily. They're also wonderful gems for Sutan to discover when she's all grown up and can appreciate how wonderful her childhood was.

Sutan is very advanced for a two-year-old. She acts more like three.

Man. I can't imagine what it would feel like growing up being absolutely sure that you're loved by your parents like Sutan. That'd be such solid base for one's self-love and confidence. The way Sutan is loved is how children can feel perfectly safe. I wish i had that. Not having the safety while growing up does such damage on one's mental health.

Moe is the model mom. Not the usual tiger mom stereotype like most (old school) asian parents. This just shows that being harsh and violent aren't the only ways to discipline and help your child learn. Rather, a more loving and patient approach is much more effective in raising a kid to be as polite and lovely like Sutan.
