It's 80 miles long and 50 miles wide with depths that reach over 500 feet. Although it's a drive-to destination, its massive size provides a true wilderness experience and would take a lifetime to fish it all. So it's a good thing that we'll be joining Lund pro-staffer Gord Ellis and his father Gord Sr. with decades of experience on this intimidating lake. Lake Trout, Northern Pike, Whitefish, the world-famous Brook Trout, and good times are why this father-son duel head to Lake Nipigon year after year.
