Lund Impact Downrigger CrossBar Setup

After messing with a couple options for mounting the downriggers on my #Lund Impact, I chose to go with a aluminum extrusion crossbar setup. Keep in mind, Traxtech and others make a crossbar setup that is prob amazing. However, they are super expensive. This entire setup was built from parts i had laying around, but should realistically cost around $200 to replicate. I would do a few things differently especially trying to find a wider aluminum extrusion. This one was free, so I can't complain. This setup is used for #salmon and #trout fishing.

Where can I find the extrusion bar long enough to reach from mount to mount?

I have Cisco Systems but not steady on gunnel. Where can I get a crossbar?

Nice setup. Do you have to climb over it to net the fish or do you drag them around to the side?

I like this cross bar system. Would like make a whole set up with everything ,,,back in the storage area hook on the whole cross bar with riggers etc raise up towards ceiling and tie off till next time. Have a Ranger 621 trying to not mount plates to gel coat and we don’t fish salmon lakers every day. But when we do just mount the crossbar and riggers and we are off Thoughts?

Hey! Sorry for the late response, I didn't even think anyone watched this. I think a cross bar would work so long as you have the track mounted on the gunnels. I like this setup for "easy" on and off. Good luck and free to message me if you have any questions.
