sorry for the abysmal quality of the video in some spots. a highlight reel for my dad who won't watch the whole movie I own nothing in this video, this is for entertainment purposes only.
The way Lupin groans, “oh, no… Pops?” after bumping face-first into his ass while he’s dressed as a woman like it’s hardly the weirdest shit Zenigata’s done makes my sides hurt.
"Pops, I beg of you, get a girlfriend," That line sold me. I need to see this movie in full. I'm just gonna have to look past Zenigata and Goemon's voices, because they're massively different to what I'm used to x.x;
I've never EVER seen one full episode of this series, but i do remember a scene where lupin is forced to eat a poisoned apple and he survives because he had a plastic bag in his throat... that shit had me in stitches
I remember buying this at the F.Y.E. at the mall in 2005 with money my brother gave me for my birthday. I watched it with my dad and my mom came in about halfway through. The first thing she saw was the part with Lupin saying "Hey it's my dolly!" and Julia saying "Hey it's the pedophile!" and my mom just walked out again lmao
@Alexandra20836 the actress playing the kid. Big name voice actor, also played kid trunks on dbz, and...a lot of people in video games. Like a lot. She's like the go to female voice actor in the video game industry
Sonny Strait as Lupin - 👍🏻👍🏻 Christopher Sabat as Jigen - 👍🏻👍🏻 Mike McFarland as Goemon - 🙂 Meredith McCoy as Fujiko - 🥰 Phillip Wilburn as Zenigata - 😂👍🏻👍🏻
I know that Jigen calling Lupin boss is out of character for him, but this movie was the first Lupin III I ever saw and I still think it's kinda sweet.
@@FritzMonorail theres a good handful of dubs that replace lupins name, either with general titles or altered names period, due to the fact that 'arsene lupin' was a copyright already held, so calling him lupin had to be changed in certain dubs to avoid copyright issues. i think theyre all clear now, as far as im aware its been a good while since anyones needed to work around his name when releasing lupin content outside of japan
@@bustedkeaton Nobody cares if its correct or not bro. The point is most people like and are used to zenigata screaming lupawn in both Japanese and English.
Eh, not really. Nostradamus is central to the plot from pretty early on, even if the exact reason for the "farewell" only comes at the end. Now, if you've seen the movie "Lion," the title, and the explanation for it, only comes in the closing credits.
This movie would have been a lot better if the little girl had just called Lupin by his name. Instead of shouting the 'nickname' she gave him in every sentence
Love the movie but the voices feel very off. The problem with Lupin is that the Part 2 dub is literally perfect for every character, so whenever there's a different dub it feels weird. Which is why for everything Lupin media that doesn't have most Part 2 voice actors (especially Tony Oliver) I watch the subbed version
An egotistical real estate billionaire with a fetish for putting his name on his giant skyscrapers is running for president of the United States? Have you heard of anything so ridiculous?
He was more a Nixon renfence. Tho it was probably more of a take at Ted Turner, given the fact the movie takes place in Atlanta, and Forbes since he was a front runner for the Republican nomination in 1995
@@justina1909 - Nixon, I see of course. I am not so sure about the rest. Remember, it's a Japanese production, so it's unlikely to contain too in-depth references to American politics beyond that which made international news. However, the USA is known worldwide as a capitalist haven, so I guess the idea of a billionaire tycoon running for president wasn't too far-fetched even decades before it really happened.
@@Yngvarfo billionaire tycoons have always ran for president. Hell Ross Perots successful campaigns in the 90s are what inspired the ol Trumpster to run
I would’ve hidden the diamond in something like a neck pillow but then there’d be no story. Also would’ve kinda been funny if jigen switch out the one in the doll with a fake cause he knew this could happen. And at the end of it all it was underneath his hat the whole time.
As much as I love Tony Oliver, Richard Epcar, Lex Lang, Michelle Ruff, Dan Lorge and Doug Erholtz, I don’t think they have to dub everything. These things take time, you know.
That's not Zenigata's English Voice Actor. Did they replace him or could he not make it in to dub his lines His English voice is so iconic it makes me sad he's not doing the role
