I got to this video because of Laura Benanti and stayed for every woman at that table. This was amazing.

Loving these questions. All of them could have been asked male actors as well and all are directed at the craft. So often the women have to answer about how hard it is being a woman or about their personal lives or how motherhood interferes with being an actor. Great panel with an interviewer who listens, who knows the people he interviews and their plays.

THR please do not lose your spark with these roundtables. I remember watching these roundtables back in 2011, my first one being with Helena Bonham Carter etc. Back then it was great actresses behind a table talking and stuff, with minimal background or a normal house setting. Now its all big production, which is kind of good, but keep it more personal for the fans that have been here from the early years. Ps put the old roundtables back up, I like the one with Rachel Weisz and the other one with Emma Thompson, those were absolutely great.

All of these women are so extraordinary and they give this video so much spirit. I personally love Lupita N'yongo, just something about her that just makes me happy on the inside but all of them have great insight and are phenomenal actors.

I want to get married to a woman who can look like Jessica at age 67 and be as half as cool and wise as she is.. Or maybe someone who mesmerizes me just by talking like Lupita.

that feeling of getting on the train is exactly what it feels like to perform. ive never really thought of it that way but as someone who has danced for 10 years, gone on to perform in colorguard and winterguard ensembles, it truly feels that way. once you have the entire show together, it’s in your bones. for those few months or so, you can’t forget that show. so you line up, lay out your equipment, set up at your mark, and the music begins and before you even have a chance to really think, you’re at the end, sweating, gasping for breath, sometimes bleeding, sometimes crying with happy tears or even upset ones sometimes, but you did it, without even realizing. and oh, how i miss that feeling. i miss dancing beyond rationality. it used to be my only escape now life is the train im hopping on every day. i remember holding onto every last second of my last performance, i made eye contact with all of my team members, smiled at them, even giggled sometimes. i held onto every last second because i knew once i hit that last mark, it was over.

Learned so much from this sitting.
