So did I. I assumed he was an actor on 12 years a slave or whatever it is called lol...... well you learn something new everyday I guess. That was a pretty brazen move to do that.
Honestly, her face is just perfection. The eyes, nose , lips, eye brows, arms, neck, everything! I honestly have never thought of a celebrity being as beautiful as lupita. I think it's because besides the point that she is physically FLAWLESS, she also has the best personality EVER! I love her. If I had to choose to meet any celebrity, I would choose her! I'm a fan. When does she make another movie!?!?
I can see she's one of those celebrities that don't need a load of make up to be pretty. She's probably just as beautiful without the makeup as she is with it on.
Joseph Edric Are you really going to sit up here and say that black females are the ugliest women on earth? Wow. Just ignorant and it is probably time to look up on Google ugly white women or ugly hispanic women or ugly Asian women in between the time you spend insulting people. Get out of here. Go cry about your own ugliness somewhere else...and that has less to do with what you look like on the outside and a bit more to do with your emotional state. Peace. P.S. And please don't bother commenting back with your insults.
Her personality is so radiant and vivacious. & her skin is wonderful. Reminds me of some smooth chocolate fondue lol. Amazing person really, well deserved win.
Hollywood needs to give Lupita more roles! Her performance in 12 years was amaaazing. She's so beautiful and such a fresh of breath air! Ahhhhh refreshing. *exhale*. And did you guys hear her amazing accent? *melts*
I absolutely just LOVE Lupita. Her smile and laugh is so infectious and I just found myself smiling throughout this whole interview. I mean she is gorgeous! And her beauty comes from the inside out I mean it just radiates through the screen. I've said this before, I absolutely do not believe in celebs being automatically labeled as role models BUT Lupita is flawless and she is someone anyone can look up to if they wanted to. And her brother.....what a cutie! He's the least famous person in that selfie and he just dominates it lol.
I loveee this woman. Not only is she an inspiration to young, black girls like me, but she also has this eloquent style and hilarious personality which is hard to find in high demanding Hollywood. I love u lupita
I'm glad that I saw her performance a few weeks ago. The movie was great and Lupita was awesome in it! I am so happy for her. :DD She really deserved her oscar
Colin Poole There are parts of 12 Years a Slave that are difficult to watch but it's such a worthwhile movie. It shows the torture of these slaves but it doesn't do it in an exploitative or "torture porn" way. It's deserving of its Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Supporting Actress wins all the way, not to mention the other nominees or those who received no awards recognition at all. Amazing movie!
***** Well this is a movie about slavery so it won't be a happy ending with a musical number if you know what I mean? However, as far as these types of stories go, it does end on a relatively happy note.
When your comment begins with "I'm not trying to be racist...but", your already being a racist. Lupita won this Oscar for a movie that is about an extreme form of racism...slavery. It's also ironic to see so many racists as Ellen fans (or at least watching her vids) since she is an icon of equality herself.
I would love to meet her and her brother one day. She's just so gorgeous on the outside and seems like such a genuinely classy sweetheart. Her brother would be super fun! :)
I know right?! These days a lot of black celebrities wear weaves and wigs because of the media. It's sad because their natural hair is much prettier, and it also helps to show their heritage too. I'm glad Lupita doesn't use generic products like weaves! She looks beautiful with her natural hair!
She probably does once in while, like she wears wigs depending on the occasion. But what from what I see I would say she doesn't because she didn't for the oscar and that's like where you have to look your best.
Congrats to Lupita for her Oscar win. Good Luck on your next movie that you do!! And good job for your brother jumping in the photo shoot!! I wish the best of luck to him for whatever his dream may be and I hope that he accomplishes his dream!!!
Vernon Smithjr Don't thinks so buddy, she won a Oscar ! Which means now she has rank in Hollywood and can command big money per movie. Plus every director in Hollywood will now be offering her scripts cause her career is on fire. She will be worth $30 million by 2016
Tierren32 LOL , I just love people who are so set on being politically correct that they ignore history and actual statistics. You people are either out of touch or your just too stubborn to be honest. Her role as an African was because she is African. It's not like this has anything to do with race. Even white women are falling behind in Hollywood as the years go by. No women were in the top ten of paid actors last year.
I love her so much already!! and I haven't even watched 12 years a slave She's so down to earth ! I so can get use to see beautiful successful woman on great movies!
This woman is flawless. Not only is she absolutely gorgeous on the outside (like seriously her skin is perfect), but she also seems so beautiful on the inside. The way she talks, laughs, she doesn't take herself seriously. She's down to earth and she really appreciates everything she's got. What an incredible woman!
she is such a beautiful person, inside and out! Her speech was incredible, she most definitely deserved to win that oscar and deserves all the happiness in the world!
Her warm laughter and smiles are helping me combat depression and stress at the moment! Love you Lupita! And love you Ellen for giving her such a warm reception!
As soon as my girlfriend and I finished watching that movie last December, I told her, Connie, that is an award-winning film and Lupita is an award-winning actress. Congratulations Indeed. Thanks for sharing her story Elken. Your show is awesome!
Sorry for the misspelling Ellen. By the way, Connie and I watched 12 Years A Slave in a little theater in Fairfax, Marin County, California. Love from Mill Valley.
