Lure Fishing From The Rocks in Riviera Maya, Mexico. 4K 

So regardless of the holiday destination, a travel fishing rod is always pack into my suitcase so I can, at the very least, lure fish once from the shore in tropical waters. The holiday destination was The Riviera Maya in Mexico. keeping the the fishing gear light was the key as I had one hold bag between 2 adults and 3 kids. I packed a travel lure rod, some lures and the Gopro and that was it.
As it was a family holiday I decided to only venture to the rocks once and have a short lure session before breakfast. The sea was calm and clear and the sun was just rising and the weather was glorious. The first lure hit the water 10 minutes into light and it wasn't long after that before I started getting interest. All in all it was an enjoyable 90mins on the rocks with 3 new species added to the bag.
