Hello Ladies and Gentlemen and thank you for checking out my channel. I Started this RU-vid channel over 10 years ago now as my passion for sea fishing started to really take hold. In the beginning I uploaded the odd video from travels abroad which I took great pride in but there really wasn't any substance except a fight with a big fish. The world then changed with the arrival of covid and after spend hours upon hours of lock down life watching fishing videos from all over the world I decided to deticate some time and effort into relaunching this channel. I try to make every upload an enjoyable watch and pack them full of helpful advice and techniques. This channel is now a resource of sea fishing information that includes everything from live streams to rig building to fishing hacks and everything in between from the UK and further afield. So thank you for checking my channel out and don't forget to subscribe and hit the bell icon for all your notifications. Tight lines
Hi greg Another kent boy here Did you not stand back for 15 minutes or so to see if any waves came over that gryone What state of tide did you fish what is the best wind direction for chucking out 60gr lures Im out there in January 25 caleta de fuste for a month
hi Greg, I've really enjoyed watching your videos, I've learn alot from you with rigs, bait presentation etc... I'm really liking your rig body's, leader line (cinnetic skyline) could you please advise me on best one you would recommend for rig body's and snood also as a leader. thanks tight lines
Watched this video couple of times now in preparation of going on a family holiday to Caleta next week 👍. Does the whole beach fish or are your better down towards where you fished?
Mono is a better leader for most applications. It’s thicker per lb rating, so buy the diameter not the lb test. It’s more abrasion resistant, ties better, and has a slight bit more stretch than flouro for shock absorption.
Couldn’t gift this newbie that’s dedicated to the game, one of your 30 + rods year & a half I’m still struggling to get a decent trust worthy set up that won’t make me sell my car to buy hahah being 21 my outgoings are terrific 😃 I’ll get there had my first ever shaw hound at Sandy point roughly 4/5 pound & man what a achievement, Caught on my home made pulley rig💙
Man, I was always under the impression they were more work then they are worth. Ive tossed back monster Skates this year while Summer Flounder fishing. I may give the next one a try if the luck is bad with the Flounder.
Great channel full of great tips and great fish.... fished Salinas and San Jorge rocks is there anywhere safe these days for my boy to come fishing with me as last year they had stopped all fishing off the beaches in Caleta de fusta? Many thanks and keep up the great work
I'm not sure if he scraped all the back skin cause ours here in the East Coast are full of razor sharp little pins and with no proper gloves or really careful skillful hands you'll bleed badly. Thank you for the demonstration. I cut the wings away and through the rest instead of cutting piece by piece .the edges can be trimmed by a shear/scissors You can start cooking. The skin can be removed when you start cooking them if it's hard to skin it raw. Good luck everyone. 👍
Great video, I Mute it and just watch the back ground. I lived down the Warren for 4 weeks on the cliff side and seeing the 4am sunrises were spectacular
I got into pulley rigs and Imp clips for casting reasons to stop the helicopter effect of a usual Paternoster rig .Then found the Imp clip wouldnt take the 8/0 hooks for Mulloway.....mmmmmm.....down on the beach brain storm snell a hook with long tag end with the spring clip off a swivel on the tag end to go into the release part of the Imp clip....necessity....mother ..invention moment that Im sure some South African Cob fisho came up with 20 yrs ago! Thanks for posting the latest evolution Cheers
Guys u nearly got it right hour before low hour after were u was I fishedfor 20 odd years had three 7s and a 15lber were u are then I'd pack up and move to the butts till 3 after high
Hello. We are coming over soon, and just wondered what size hooks do you use, and what line? Every time I have fished here I hardly caught anything. Thanks.
It all depends what you are going for? Small fish under a float I'd be using 12 - 16 but then bigger and bigger depending on the bait used. For half a prawn then size 4 or 2 baitholder hooks are best
A slight correction regarding El Cotillo: There is a fresh fish counter in the SuperDino supermarket, on the right, as you enter the village. They always have sardines on ice as well as some shellfish and also sell frozen prawns, clams, mussels and sardines. Open from 08:30 to 21:00. For a basic selection of tackle (line, hooks, leads, beads and budget rods and reels) the Chinese Dragon 2012 home goods shop across the road and the hardware shop (Ferretaria) 120 metres further on are the places to look.
Really like you and your content. Most British people I've met in the Canary's where not very nice mostly tourists in Los Cristiano's where I was to board the ferry.
