Hope you all found this trick helpful! Painting the Crappie pattern: • Lure Painting (Crappie... How I Prep My Lures: • How I Prep My Lures - ... How I Clear Coat: • Alumi-UV Clear Coat - ... My Website: bakerbuildsusa.com/
I have a bait that has really prominent scales. Wanted a shad pattern. I had used this technique but found it is much easier if I thinned the black paint first, but I was using opaque black rather than transparent. Thinner paint Dries much slower and easier to control the amount of black left on. I have quite a few baits with molded in scales and was trying to come up with a way to make them look unique and more custom. Using what I learned here, I’m going to use a darker color over a lighter in the scaled areas to see how it works. Great ideas. Thx
Awesome videos man really helpful for beginners like me can you or anyone answer a question plz what is better to do a dip clear coat or the spray stuff what gives a better result?
Question, if I were to send you a master of my Python Shad, would you be able to carve one out of wood for me? It needs to sink to about 4 feet. I generally use resin and my 3D printer to build lures, but I really want to see a wood based one.
For solid black eyes I just take any regular eyes I have and put one or 2 coats of black on them with my airbrush or just a simple brush. Simple as that ;)
@@BakerBuilds you do a good job explaining and demonstrating your airbrush techniques and it is greatly appreciated. If you ever decide to make stencils I would be among the many that would buy them. There are not many available that are not out of my price range for the amount of lures that I am painting. Mine are cardboard and look like a two year old made them. Lol keep painting and enjoying your life. May God bless you richly for sharing all of your knowledge
@@BakerBuilds I dont airbrush anything yet but in really interested in it been watching alot of videos trying to find a cheaper airbrush kit to start out
@@BakerBuilds I actually just came across that video the harbor freight kit. Look for that kit went on your link but wasn't for sale they had a set similar
I would love to know your thoughts on a natural looking bait VS something that just doesn't even look remotely like anything in the water? I love catching fish and I record every capture and the lure used. It's why I paint my own and only paint natural looking lures because you can easily buy ridiculous looking coloured lures.
You probably dont care at all but does anybody know a method to get back into an Instagram account? I was dumb forgot my account password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me
@Brantley Joaquin I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
