How about you show both sides of the story mate ....go and follow the kids around when they are stealing shit and pulling knives on people , picking on the elderly and belting other kids up for no reason or maybe approach the cops to do a day in their shoes to see what these kids are up to on a daily ? sadly you are just like the mercury only showing one side .
@@1973RPO83 Nah these type of people have the mindset that TN's and hoodies automatically mean their no good. I'd hate to live with a mindset like that. They must be in fear whenever they leave their house.
I don't believe they are innocent at all eshays running around causing a muck then when they finally get caught and have to own up for their actions they play the victim why should the public have to listen to their foul language
Yeah idk. It goes both ways, the way I’ve seen the “lads” treat the general public is pretty gross. It was only last week when I witnessed 2 “lads” harass a well known “little person” of ethnic background in Claremont village. I stood up for the bloke but it’s becoming far too common. I use to run a muck in Glenorchy with a rough crew but we always respected our elders and the general public. That’s just not a thing these days.
C'mon Greeley. You clearly didn't see what happened just prior to that girl getting arrested all you witnessed was the girl being arrested. It doesn't matter what she was being arrested for, all we know for sure is an adult with a camera looking for youtube views decided it was a good idea to escalate the situation by running around with a camera saying "Im filming it and going to put it on youtube tonight Brah", "shame-shame-shame", you could have handled this so much better" further escalating the situation, you're intelligent enough to realise that kids like this in situations like this thrive on that sort of attention from someone they look up to and you doing what you did could have potentially taken that situation to a far greater level than what it was. Unfortunately these kids have created the reputation they have through past behaviours and have to work harder now to break the stigma attached to them whether that is fair or not. You then pretend to interview them and start putting words like "prejudice" in their heads which for them just condones their behaviour. You know full well they are going to think its cool being on your youtube channel and they will thrive on that attention. You not only failed to help educate them on how their past behaviours and reputation played a part in this situation and how to help turn their lives sround into something positive you actually helped them justify their behaviour. Every member of society must abide by the law whether we agree with it or not or face the consequences. We don't get to resist arrest, put our hands on Police because they're arresting our friend, start assaulting a member of the public( who was actually trying to help the girl being arrested), damage police vehicles etc etc. Im normally a big supporter of everything you're trying to achieve but this video screams the exploitation of those kids just to get some you tube views.
Well said. This whole 'interview in the hood' stuff does nothing to help disadvantaged people pull themselves up to a better quality of life. It just encourages and rewards antisocial behaviour. Get off RU-vid and start doing some work in the community, without a camera in your hand.
Bro this is more real than anything ive seen on the news in the last 5 years! Absolutely love these deep dives into small towns, so awesome to see whats actually happening in this country.
Mate, the coppers now in WA anyway are 60% new British imports n don't even kno our laws properly... they abuse their power n the new stop n search laws on the daily... just go sit in court n listen.... it's total bs 80% of the time... something needs to be done
Right time right place Cousin!! Must respect for standing up for her and them!! This is unacceptable! Praying for Brit and the kids🙏 awareness is a must! Ty for your courage and strength to put this out here for people to whats really goin on!
See - even Timothy was rattled by the whole experience, he and so many of us are just trying to survive and find some peace and kindness around us, so when we're confronted with that type of physical stand over swamping were naturally going to get scared and respond with fear. Its unbelievably sad that there was a man just down the road the assaulted a woman to the point of blood down her face yet they dont protect or apprehend that man, instead they traumatised a group youth who they felt more intimated by! Aaargh im so frustrated by this. Keep up the good work greelz ✊🏼✊🏼✊🏼
I don’t think what most of you understand is that Greely’s trying to say & has said in this video multiple times these kids need programs not just to be arrested put into a holding cell then released this is the problem!! They’re being institutionalised far too early!! They need intervention before being treated as if there bad people. Not hard to understand but a lot of people have a hard time looking at the bigger picture these days it’s a fact that the most simply minded people of all time ever exists right now today & I don’t lie it’s a fact.. I’m raging after seeing a child with his hands cuffed behind his back being slammed into the concrete!!
Follow police directions I have done that in Auckland once. direction was to remove ring I did never saw the ring again. Theft? is it good for goose and good for the gander.
That looked like such an overwhelming and traumatic experience for little Britney and her friends! That arrest was way over the top! The amount of police being so physically rough to one 15yr old girl, naturally she was going to go into survival mode, resist and freak out. Greeley these kids were very lucky to have had your miracle presence there to help make them feel safe and calm & backed up. Much respect for the reality your sharing with us 🙏🏼✊🏼🤙🏼
These poor innocent 15 year olds were so lucky to have you there Greely 😂😂 cus they looked so terrified Whilst hurling abuse & putting their fists up 😂😂 Wow, some people really are watching a completely different movie..
Bro it's so complex. Thanks for trying. You got a big heart and the things that break your heart about society are the same things that break mine. I appreciate so much u r trying to do something. Most people just throw negativity at what they don't understand or what doesn't understand them, but that just perpetuates division. Anyone with a half decent lifestyle needs to be hugely accountable with their words. So often on social media people will be calling out this issue or that issue and they may as well be waving a red flag in front of a bull
Like you said compassion and understanding and systems to help process inter generational trauma are what is key and I pray for the day the government rolls out some massive new initiative with plenty of resources behind it to try and effectively overcome this alienation which basically goes back to the colonial occupation and the animosity between the groups then
Im with the Police on this one. Lord of the Eshay's runs up to police screaming he is recording and escalating the situation, having absolutely no idea why this girl was apprehended. These are kids that need direction mate.
Ppl who think full grown men need to put their hands on a 15 yr old girl for Any reason, are sick. Just like these coppers. weak behaviour from so called men.
If you keep making a big deal out of these cops just doing their jobs, decent people will stop aspiring to become police officers and shit will get much worse.. Just because those kids are coming up rough doesn't justify their behavior, these girls are an embarrassment to themselves and their families.
Youre exactly right man, Im a 1980s baby n I had 14 caution slips from 1993 to 1997 all for BS things like skating after 6pm, going to the deli for lollies n missing the state curfew at thr time i was 2 houses from home... etc and then fast forward to not having a charge in 12yrs n i missed court cos Ds told me my court date when i was in hospital triage getting treatment for copping a bad beating n they never served me... they know im a single mum with a 10yo n they rock up 6pm on a friday when im cooking dinner.. i dont have a front door n they dont have a warrant so i finish dinner call mum to come get my dayghter n i have a shower n take my meds n i peacefully get into the paddywagon in front of my kid, my mum is like is this really necessary??!@ n the take me all the way to perth watchhouse n they strip search me in front of 7 male n 2 female officers n then they walk me past 4 empty cells n put me in the drunk tank, so ofc i have to defend myself n ive already got half my face black n blue so i dive it a crack crack crack cos i have to to defend ny face n i end up on top of her with my knee in her chest n arm across her neck, the 6 British coppers come in with batons raised n threaten to hit me if i dont get up so i do... then im savagely marched by 2 of em to my own cell... 36hrs later i get out on persy bail in kangaroo court and jugde asks coppers why am i even there?! Its like an abuse of the new laws they pushed thru during covid 4 stop n search n the cops couldve served me with a summons.. or turned up on monday morning after school drop so my 10yo didnt see her Mama getting put in handcuffs n a paddywagon.. its creating a culture of us vs the police in our kids so early on... I had been bought home by coppers maybe 13 or 14 times just for skating after dark by the time I was 16... its absolutely fucked
People often don’t realise that many at risk kids rarely if EVER receive a positive word or encouragement from the adults in their life. Also, I have sympathy for the coppers. It would be an unimaginably hard job that would involve it’s own trauma. I was quite taken by how young some of those coppers were. I think this is a great example of how disconnected and broken society is becoming.
Just watched this footage again for another time and what stands out is how rattled those coopers were. You can see they don’t ‘believe in’ what they’re doing. I feel sorry for the coppers man. I couldn’t think of a worse job. Just putting it out there, would you consider doing a vlog of/with police?
Reminds me of when in was a teen. police came to henley scuare in adelaide and told us to go home and asked where we ar going too? we dais home in grange. we are all going back there. they said it was ok and start moving. we got to within 2 houses from my late mates hous and the police pulled up to ask what we are doing out? we said you just asked us that, we are 2 houses from where we are going and pointed to the house. the police kept saying we are lying and we are smart a$$'s and then asked who's house? My mate said it was his house and it's just there! They grabbed him and shoved him in the car for lying and said we will find out now! "tell me the truth, where do you live!?" My mate gave the address, they typed it inn before driving two houses down and parking again. lol They still said stuff to my mate before letting him out and driving off. But by this time we are all already standing there abusing the police as they drove off, because it was only two houses down they went HAHAHA. Pointless!!!!!!
Good on you for exposing this tyrant behaviour in our so called police 'service'. Your out here on the streets tryna make a change while others sit behind a keyboard acting like they have the solution. Stay blessed up brother!!
So watching the end of this video , I used to live in battery point on a route the "red bus" drove and we got shit from the council leaving our bins out the morning after. They wanna keep Hobart city and its areas clean for tourism ... sucks they will just kick the local kids of tassie out of their own city for tourism.
Mate u aloud to have a young mate smoke a vape infornt u . I get u can't do shit but that young mate gonna die because his think thinks his life is the shit
Bit odd for Greely to do this and then just light up the situation more, far out by him saying the sufff he said just made the situation worse, such a shame and embarrassing thing to do.
Hey Bro don't spread this news in wrong way they all teenagers were trouble maker around city and cops 👮 do very good job. We appreciate the Cops job. So please don't encourage these type of troublemakers in Tasmania.
They seemed like fine kids. No abuse, no smart comments. They complied with everything. I understand police want to make the streets safe, but this hurts my heart.. They were leaving...... Also good on you Greelz for 'hey bro we treat women with respect' And 'chill' even though you know this kid is reacting... *failure to comply* Oh my gosh. Massive ups Greelz. He didn't look too happy to see you filming which says all that needs to be said really. This from authorities doesn't help one bit.
Thats exactly right too. If you have a shit home life, why would you be at home. Where would you go if your friends had abusive parents too. Sad but true.
I wonder how that situation could have escalated further if Greeley wasn't there helping to keep it calm and keep everybody accountable... Shame on our system of society that creates and perpetuates this unnecessary tribalism and ongoing trauma. Through this awareness I hope we can gradually begin to rise above it as a collective and learn to understand more deeply the ramifications of our actions in all instances on others ❤❤❤
Should of got their badge numbers greelz, especially that emotional one threatning you for obstruction. She needs re training , obviously hasn't got a clue about the actual law that she is tax funded to enforce.
