A passenger walks up to the captain of the Lusitania: "Captain, why have we stopped, there is a big button saying 'play' in the sky, and a posh British man is screaming at us telling us we look weird?"
1:55- ....The plastic low poly Lifeboat mysteriously slides sideways ... the whistle blows ... an unseen person celebrates with "WAHOOOOOOH!" *This game TRULY encapsulates the sheer terror of the sinking of the Lusitania*
So what you hear in the horn is actually from a recording and that recording is from Titanic's whistle and it was public when it was used so that's why you hear somebody talking during the whistle
That hull makes it look like "Zebratania" BTW I think the "Woo" might be from when they sounded the Titanic horn in public. They basically took the audio from that video and didn't bother editing out the cheering.
That would indeed be something else. Imagine a dark cold night, it's raining and so windy it causes waves as big as apartment buildings. And then "oopsie doopsie" the front visor falls off the ship.
Oh. Another Lusitania model and game. I appreciate that! Although i think model, made by Itsstillsinking is more accurate. Even my own model has much more details, that this one. If you're developer, feel free do download it from BlendSwap. I will even set it as Creative Commons there. If you're developer, you like Lusy and want to make your game better - go for it!
@@AlexandruCarjan Hello, we did purchase it from an online 3D warehouse that sells these models (the old Lusitania experience purchased the model and added the interiors etc).
@@interactivegamingstudios1461 Ok, fair enough. But what about the strainght up rip of the video showing the public sounding of Titanic's whistles from 1999, that is used as the horns in the game? That is why that "wohoo" is there while the horn blasts in game.
@@AlexandruCarjan We already changed the whistle in the game. We had that sound as part of an asset we purchased and didn't realise it was that, so we changed it once we found that out.
3:48 Reminds me of your Raft build, when you had to rip out all of the interior to bring the frame-rate back up to a level where you could do something. Just a big empty hull (without all the wooden pillars you had to keep for the upper decks).
I believe I may be the nerd in there, the sinking nerd...tbh I still love the game anyways. I just cannot help but point out inaccuracies that games make while I still enjoy playing them whether they are likeworthy or not.
Hello! I have come back to your channel, and have loved everything I seen! I also have a suggestion for a video which I know you get a lot of. Since National Train Day is coming on May 10th, maybe you can do a train game? The event is for Americans, so it’s your choice
I do believe it is pronounced Kel-tic for the Celtic people as Sel-tic is some sports announcer muppet's mispronunciation of the word. Also while there were (and still are) munitions on board, that second explosion is accepted as being one of the boilers exploding from the sudden introduction to cold sea water.
Yay! Hi my first impressions of this game to spammals it’s really good start with a copy of Titanic again like Britannic this is a nice new model and I really like that model because the background spammals and also that sound is actually from the Titanic with the whistle and it’s kind funny when he says whooooow this is a really good game may be able to download this onto my computer That’s the on scene as it is very nice who have made this game I forget the name who made this really good job don’t you think spammals!
Today, I learned that all 1,198 victims of the Lusitania got a screen that said, "You fell off the Lusitania, and didn't survive the impact.", before being taken back to the menu. Jokes aside, I think that Interactive Gaming Studios' shipwreck games do have potential, but they just need a little polish. But, I'm not a game critic, so everything I have to say about games is stupid. I am a complete idiot when it comes to games.
