After getting frustrated and lost in Lusk Creek Wilderness on my River to River Thru-Hike in November 2017, I returned to the infamous wilderness area in Southern Illinois on November 2, 2018 to figure out where I went wrong. It's also my first time using my Panasonic G85 mirrorless camera, a frameless backpack - the Mountain Laurel Designs "Prophet" and trying stoveless no-cook.

Another great vid man! Plus a little pack review and peak at the latest Tarptent has to offer...Bonus! But most of all I really enjoy how you capture the sounds of hiking...sloshing feet in mud, clicking of the pack while putting it on, wind in the trees. Thanks for watching! That tent in this video was my old Zpacks Duplex. Hopefully the Tarptent will start making some cameos soon.

Good hiking video. I like to hikes there. I’m coming from Holland Michigan, how do I get there? I can drive to Shawnee National Forest, but how to get to that Lust Creek Trail?

I guess I was on part of it when I hiked the River to River Trail. I'd like to get back to that side of Shawnee NF and eat at the lodge! Is that a good trail to check out over there?
