Yeah. I'd love to see her react to it. She might not like her mainstream songs from it, but might like others. National Anthem and Dark Paradise are ones I think she'd like. Could be wrong tho.
By the way, you are one of the three good reaction you tubers I have ever found. Only you, AJay, and DylanWillNotParticpate know how to listen to a song and give an intelligent response. Good reaction videos make me see music differently. I really enjoy your videos so thank youuu.
Not going to lie, I am a little nervous posting this because I know a lot of you LOVE her to death and will defend her to the end. Which is why I didn't want to react to it in the first place because it is just not my favorite thing to listen to. I stated my opinions respectfully and I hope it is reciprocated back! + I still stand by what I said in the video.. the last half of the album is superior to the first. I mean... STEVIE NICKS??? LEGEND.
Reacts By Ash btw will you react to heartbreak on fullmoon by chris brown . Like i fucking love that guy,but idk if it will be appropriate for your channel😁😁

I remember reading that Lana's music has been described as "Hollywood sadcore" due to its cinematic, depressing and often sexual content. I completely understand why it might not be your thing, it is definitely different. I do however like that you gave the album a chance and appreciated the time and effort that is put into each song. I would definitely recommend that you skim the other albums to find some other songs. You seemed to like the songs with a little more beat to it and with happier concepts and there are a lot of those spread over the other albums. Thanks for doing this, even if it turned out not to be completely your thing. Love you Ash xx
I have attended her show and OMG it’s crazy as f*ck!!! Gay boys all over trampling eachother; I thought it was gonna be a calm gentle audience ....oh hell nah!! They are hungry for her !! Although it was crazy I still can’t believe I had the chance to be in her presence!
Maira Belén Way more. It's more upbeat and has nice beats. It's far from my personal favorite, but I do gravitate more towards the "I wish I was dead" tracks when it comes to Lana.
I think LfL is Lana's best album for non listeners as there's a lot more variety. Anyone can find at least a song to like. Glad you found one or two, and that you were nice even if she's not someone you'd be listen to her often. Thanks for doing this!
Ashley in 2017: “Why are her titles so long?” Lana in 2019: *releases Hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have - but I have it* “Bitch you thought-”
By the way, Woodstock was a song she wrote when she was at Coachella. She was celebrating and enjoying Coachella but felt burdened by the problems and tensions in the world. She went to her favorite quiet place in the woods and sang the melody on an Instagram video to share her feelings with her fans. She then produced it and put it on the album which is really cool idk. She talks about important things a lot to keep fans informed

I'm so glad you've decided to give Lana an opportunity. I get why is not really your thing and I respect that. Thanks for reacting to it and for being so respectful with your opinion❤️
It's so funny how Lana has everything you ask for: Violins, harmonies, lyrics, daddy issues, but you still don't fuck with her. And I respect that! Lana is always a grower for me.
Yeah, I've found that I need to hear her songs a few times before I can full appreciate them. One listen is rarely enough to fairly assess a song imv, though I know that's how a lot of people operate. It's often the case that a song we don't take to on the first listen is one we fall in love with on the 4th or 5th time of hearing. But, it's true that we don't all like the same things, thankfully.
i love that you gave this album a shot! i feel like some of her earlier stuff (born to die and paradise) would suit you a bit more cause the songs tend to have more of a beat but still loved this reaction and appreciate the fact that you came into it with such an open mind 😊
WE TOLD YOU THIS WAS MELODRAMA No, she will hate Ultraviolence I think she will like BTD Paradise Edition better Honeymoon and Ultraviolence is too soft for someone like her
crowds at lana's concerts ARE CRAZY people go mad lol you should watch a "i survived a lana del rey concert" video and you will see that i'm telling you the truth lol
10:28 if u hear the song with ur heart u would have known that she was talking about all the kids that died in a concert or idk where from an explosion that happened at the time and that she would give anything that she would trade the fame to give her just one day to ask them one question (the killers) why they did it,and then she talks about those kids dreams and hopes that got lost (what about all those children and what about all their crowns they wear in hair so long like mine) crown symbolises the dreams, and then she says (what about all their wishes wrapped up like garland roses).and then she says (round their little heads i said a prayer for a third time)so in this song overall Lana means that she would give Everything to become an angel and to be able to bless those innocent children. Yeah.
one of my favorite lyrics of hers is: "i never really noticed that i had to decide to play someone's game or live my own life, but now i do i wanna move out of the black, into the blue." it's so personal and real. it feels like the beginning of selfacceptance and happiness; and it's just all i want to hear, basically.
The second part of the album is the best part. It reflects on the political climate of the world today and touched many issues. It makes you reflect also which I love
You should react to her Born to die album, is more pop than LFL, and if you enjoy it, maybe you can go in Ultraviolence, is more rock and guitar and that stuff, and if you like go on Honeymoon, is very soft and chill, more piano and that stuff, is one of my favorites with Ultraviolence
I’m a huge Lana fan and I love all of her albums. I just wanted to tell you that I love how honest you are about your opinions on this album. It makes your reaction very interesting to watch!! ❤️
I cried. I've been watching this channel for a yr , how tf did I miss this vid?! My fav person eveerrr reacting to my idol, loml, my woman lana? I can die happily now. No kidding. 💙
Tomorrow Never Came has to be my favorite song on the entire album, and maybe even ever. Not only is the feature great, not only does she acknowledge the feature in the bridge which is amazing, but she paints this scene. You can see this struggling pair with feelings planned to be unmasked, but they never were. I still don't know if Lana's man didn't love her like that or he didn't love her anymore, but the vibe I was getting was that he died. I had this story in my head of a man who was supposed to be coming home to his wife/girlfriend/friend, either from the military or somewhere far away or maybe even somewhere standard, but he never comes home. This song got me all imaginative, it got me all fucked up. Not to mention that this old school vibe was everything. I was getting so much nostalgia, and I hope she continues in this direction for her next album.
if you want to listen to a more upbeat lana album, listen to "Lana Del Ray AKA Lizzie Grant" it was taken down due to label drama but you can listen to it on youtube
I feel the same way! I tell people that it is basically two different albums. Half of it being more current sounding and more chill hip hop and the second half more vintage like her old stuff. I like the movie sound track timeless songs more but I think they are all pretty good musically
You should react to the Brand new eyes album from Paramore. Ik its old but it's such an amazing album, and i has my favourite song of all time on it (Playing god). Lyrically the best song i've ever heard
Aultimaespada1 I agree , it's my least favorite album by Sia , but I want ash to react to this is acting first , then reacting to the other tow albums ( 1000 forms of fear and some people have real problems) 😃😃
U need to listen to BORN TO DIE it's one of the third album by women in history that stayed 300 weeks in billboard The other two are Adele's 21 and Carole king's tapestry
Thanks for giving it a shot and being honest about it. You need to react to Born To Die album, I'm pretty sure you'll love that one, it's literally full of bops and good beats.
I honestly think her Born to Die era was that BEST, and like, I like the other albums, but most of the songs are unfortunately not something I go back to listen to daily, yknow? Other than Cherry and Beautiful people. It's great for a first listen, and maybe a few times after that but that's it. I still think she's super unique and creative though
ASH LEGEND THANK YOU FOR THIS!! I appreciate that you gave it a chance no matter what your opinion is. Please listen to art angels - grimes!! Or CollXtion II - Allie x
my favorites are change, beautiful people people problems, and cochlea- Woodstock in my mind. they're all soooo good though. she really slayed this album.
I respect your honesty and I will admit Lana is not for everyone, but I’m glad you gave her a try and that you even liked some of the songs. Her music is definitely dramatic and cinematic. Sometimes it can almost put you in a trance. I love this album so much, but I think Born to Die will always be my favorite because it was the first, it has a lot of hip-hop influence in the sound and some of the songs are a bit more uptempo. I’d definitely love to see you react to more of Lana or even some of her music videos. They’re also very cinematic and most of them have a vintage feel. P.S. Beautiful People Beautiful Problems is one of my favorites. I think Lana’s and Stevie’s voices blend very well together.
judging by your reaction I think you'd like born to die more than ultraviolence since ultraviolence is very dark and moody and born to die is very upbeat
I was on her in Krakow 2months ago, swear I was crying through out her whole set and when I touched her etc. I almost passed away (: ...Thats what we fans do most of the time
