Well, one of fifty men since each Eagle's Claw has eight possible crewmen and there's four per unit, plus the Loremaster and Noble... Though to be fair, all elven armies are gender-mixed whether it's the valiant Asur, the crafty Asrai, or the tyrannical Druchii - as I have heard it CA just had a hard time getting it to work so they just went with the regiments being all men or all women, and had both a male and female generic lord option to show it.

65% magical resis for him sure counter anything that does magic damage

yeah and if you also defeat Azhag you are virtually immune to magic

if you have Harkon, the black pyramid, Azhag kill trait and Kemmler kill trait you can get up to 105% magic resist (I'm fairly certain that you can have up to 100% of magic or fire resist in effect while physical and missile is capped at 90%) 100% magic resist + the sword of Khaine + the 20% ward save banner + 30% missile resist from Morghur + 10% physical resist from Wurrzag and you have an almost unkillable lord (then if you make him unbreakable I think you end up left with a one man army) even after that I'm sure that there is more you can add

My main tactic in any campaign is to ally with Luthor as soon as I can. It's much better to have him as a military trusted ally than as an enemy.

I buffed up count noctilus and got a stack of free upkeep necrofex to back him up, he took all the damage and the rest just mauled the enemy

I've done something similar with nakai getting the rare ward save equipment will take time but on mortal empires he is next to ulthan which means sword of khaine early. It gets ridiculous I believe I've gotten 65% ward save with him.

by turn 250 of my VC campaign i had vladdy daddy up to 90% ward save and capped on physical, missile and magi resist. add in his absolutely borked regen and two necromancers for the MA and MD buffs. believe you me he took a fat SHIT on everything that was unlucky enough to exist in his path.

Actually i have found that the higher the Lord level is, it's more agressive the army, and make things quite difficult, after the new changes in last patches , IA rushing Doomstacks, i have found extremely hard to play with the No obssolete lord mod ( all lords have + exp every turn and by turn 40 - 60 everybody is around lvl 20 - 25), the only campaign i mange to pull with the mod by the moment is Tyrion, But with karl franz, it get's hardcore on legendary xd

@@christopherlane467 If the AI can adapt and learn it is not going to be fun for you at all anymore because it will be impossible to win anymore. They did that with a much simpler game (dota) and afterwards even the best players were unable to beat it. Now imagine this with wh2 where the Ai gets cheats on top of beeing able to micro everything at the same time.

Vampire heroes, of Any kind it's useful. Nehekara. Chaos heroes most prob. Norsca heroes with low leadership. Tanky heroes who Can get regen by killing isabella... On it's own. It's bad, Lord kIt makes It useful Or not.

@@_Muzolf I wouldn't know! It was attacking a shitty garrison so I just auto-resolved, and all his bloated corpses were dead, so...mission accomplished, I guess?

@@subatomicseal7789 Ah well, autoresolve and actual fights are very different things. Just the last days as i was playing Norsca, had a whole bunch of battles where the autoresolve meter gave me no chance of victory, and would have probably gave the enemy easy victories with minimal losses, but with actual control i often beat them back, or at least put a serious dent in the enemy forces. (I don`t even know why it underestimates Norscan garrisons that much, they can easily stand up to everything but elite doomstacks or multiple armies.) But that also means you did the right thing, those suicide zombers can be a real pain in the ass when they wipe out entire units if you don`t pay attention and micro against them.

@@_Muzolf oh yeah I've had that experience plenty of times, usually when fighting orks or other swarmy factions. More often though auto-resolve will give me less casualties than if I fought manually, mostly in sieges. Might be because I usually load up on frankly impractical amounts of artillery lmao I don't have that much experience with Norsca, though I'm surprised their garrisons are so good! From the few fights I had against them as Reikland, I remember them being pretty easy to shell into the ground from a hill

@@subatomicseal7789 Ha, i wish i could figure out army builds that give unreasonable autoresolve bonuses, what did you say you used, lot of artillery? As for Norsca, its not that they are weak, the AI just uses some of the worst army builds for them, and while the battle AI is decent for most factions, it tries to play Norsca like any other faction there too, which leads to an absolute disaster. You cannot play them like a faction that has a full roster of everything. Their strenght is in a big meele army rushing forward, preferably too big to be taken out at range, backed by monsters and beasts that can shatter the enemy front line, while the ultra fast light units are there to harass skirmishers and kill artillery. There is no heavy cavalry (besides maybe the wolf chatriot thing, but that needs a lot of micro), no artillery, and the ranged units are there for special tasks like taking down fliers or cavalry caught on your troops. Oh and Norscan economy also sucks ass, you have to successfuly raid and sack to keep a decent army, as even if you have taken and united all of Norsca, you can afford maybe two decent armies with that income at best. So that is another reason why the AI will never field a proper Norscan army in the campaign.
