They are certainly more difficult and demanding to ride than a bigger capacity bike or a fourstroke. One slight mistake and you could loose 10 positions on the track.

As I sit watching the start, it evokes memories of my past sitting track side in long grass. Listening to various choruses of machines warming up in the pits to the guys waiting for the green light on the start line. The smell as well, trampled grass, warm sun and the smell of two stroke in the air the occasional smell of a burger van tempting us in. I miss watching these manic machines and brave riders having fun.
I had a 1977 Blue AP50 with straight bars and expansion chamber jetted big carb I loved it and went on to an X7 with much of the same thing then Suzuki brought out the RG Gamma and everything changed overnight, good times and so many great memories and friends 👍💯🔥👌
shutup ahaha it's literally a piston that fits in your palms and sounds like a chainsaw while outputting no power at all. sure, powerband, but what's that "power"? 10 hp?
In the 60s and early 70s the little 50cc of the day had 14-16 gears and many could rev on to 18000rpm there was twins and even a triple 50cc but things change and the Japanese were back on a more level playing field and East and West Germany and lots of European countries joined in and it got lively again for a while then more rules and regs and it slowly but surely killed it off which is so sad for such an entertaining class...
would wonder how my own 50cc stuntbike would compare, it's a derbi senda Xtreme with a 50cc doppler kit. Makes 15.1hp on the dyno. I heard these things make like 20hp.
Qué tendrán las 50cc que andan tanto? Escape, la caja, el embrague, carburador, deben estar preparadísimas milimétricamente y acá lo más arriesgado que se le hace es limar la admisión y el escape, pero que no se te pase sino se te rompen los aros💅🏽💅🏽
@@mrGW yes they can. My taotao scooter cruised at 9500rpm constant. A normal dirt bike have a idle at 1800-2000 rpm and a revlimiter around 12-14 depending on the year
50cc 2 stroke in here is extinct, buddy. I always looking for kreidler, tomos,sachs,zundapp and etc on ebay or other online store. I like the european 50cc classic racer, its so exotic but rare haha 🤣
