As a kid in the early 40s, I listened to Lux Radio Theater every weekend. And the movie “It Happened On 5th Avenue” is a cracker jack story! Courtesy of Half Vast Flying
I adore this movie. My whole life I’ve had dreams about having secret places to stay in that others don’t know about, places of comfort and coziness and ease. So this story speaks to something deep in my psyche. But even apart from that, it’s just an enchanting tale.
@@melissasaint3283 I stumbled upon this little gem a few years ago had to own it, but listening to this in front of a live audience just made it even better, such a great classic that many have never heard of
Does anyone know of an old movie I saw awhile ago, probably made in the 40s. It was about 3 people who were out of work, maybe homeless, a lady, and two gentlemen. They met in I think it was central Park, and a park worker, I think, told them they could stay in the tool shed til they got homes, to the best I remember anyway. It had a lovely ending and was a refreshing story.
