Jess, I am so so proud of your transparency and authenticity. As a PK and someone who has been in church my entire life, I get it. There came a point when I also had to make a conscious decision to have a real relationship with Christ. I can totally relate. If you ever need anything along this journey, my hand and heart are open. I always tell the women in my ministry - TAKE THE PRESSURE OFF. There's no right way to pray or a certain amount of time you must study. God simply honors our hearts to seek Him. He will honor this pursuit Jess! This was beautiful and I'm praying for you on this journey. *insert black heart*
Love love this sis!!! I think she took the faith journal down... I'm so sad I really want it... I'm gonna find a way to make the study journal work for me but that faith journal is perfect. Thank you for this video I am setting up mine now. 🙂
Praying is like a conversation, but it is a two-way conversation. Talk and then listen. Listen and only then talk. Most people just complain to God, ask for God to do something, or thanking or praising God for something good. But so few really listen. There are tons of ways to pray. Sometimes a walk or just staring at a candle while in a hot soaky bath is prayer.
