Great video and I love the mods to the HexPeak. I have a love hate (not quite hate) relationship with the HexPeak. Love the space, height and weight of it, but it can be immensely frustrating to pitch...correctly. Could you please record a 'how-to' video for the mods you made, how you made them, dimensions, materials, and the pitching? That would be epic!

Jim, absolutely love the mods you've done. Probably one of the reasons that I don't use my hex peak as much as I would like to is because of what you explained at the beginning of your video. Excellent mate, really enjoyed that - what a beautiful wee spot for a camp! I had a laugh to myself when you've brought the hexpeak along but proceed to sit under a tarp 😂 Anyway, I'm very interested in they mods - I've got something similar for opening the door, but hadn't considered tying it off at the top - really neat and tidy so I'll have to steal that! Now for the nitty gritty; do you have measurements for the bungee cords and what did you do (if anything) to hold the corners at 90degrees?

Hi Jim, looked for your vid to see more info on those mods, is it 3mm shock cord mate ? I can never get the inner taught like that, please for the sake of humanity share this wisdom
