Luxord and Demyx have been some of the biggest identity mysteries in this whole entire I.P. I love this theory! I can't wait to find out Dem's origins and True Name!
@michaeledwards1644 We don't know if Ansem ever became a heartless in order for Luxord to exist. Plus, every Org 13 members name ins an anagram with an X in it, so it can't be Ansem
I want to take this a step further, as there could be many worlds on the other side of reality. The joker card might have helped guide Sora to Quadratum (the city) specifically. I say this because of how the Nameless Star spoke to Riku and the others.

It would so cool if Luxord ended up being Loki. Very fitting that he turns up in the Caribbean multiple times, considering that the Pirates franchise has always had an emphasis on gods from various mythologies (Calypso, the Aztec gods)

Loki and Ludor being one and the same would be odd since Ludor is described as a Aesir and Loki is known to be a Jotunn. Granted it doesn't matter if KH could be doing things the way you said. Great theory though. I actually learned some new stuff about Norse Mythology
I've always liked Luxord ever since kh2, I thought he was cool due to his British accent, being playful but calm, and him doing those little card tricks :D

I literally said something similar 2 years ago on another video. Lodur has an elusive and speculated history. Sometimes he is seen as an alternative for an existing god, other times he is seen as distinct with the latter having more credence. On one hand he is describes as a god of passion and even fertility sometimes. On the other hand the name Lodur itself apparently means “giver of senses” which is interesting considering Norse mythology also describes Lodur as having “animated the first humans”. Finally, Lodur in addition to being considered a brother of Odin and has a lot of relationships with various Norse gods like yes Loki, but also Freya. This can’t be coincidence.
Out of all the organization members only 2 never mentioned human names who are both being luxord and demyx, likely they are both in quadratum as we hear the voice of him with yozora if you get the bad ending in Re:Mind. Its a possibility that these 2 specifically are friends of the master of masters, in union cross he did say he and his friends fought the darkness and he was the only one that survived in the end, its likely he moved them to quadratum so they could assist a role that these 2 could still do

It would make sense given that he is one who is connected to the "ancient keyblade war" if it ends up that Odin is some kind of ageless, immortal keyblade wielder and he ended up working as his brother's "face" during the modern era.
I would add that luxord had his own agenda since 358/2. The ones Who played the ds game know that. There are secret reports here too. And in one of them written by luxord, he mentioned that he feels the tension in organization now that roxas has left. He said gambling now would be risky. But riskier the bet is, more the reward is Nice. He concludes by saying he cant wait to see what the results of his wagering will be

While it makes more sense, if that's actually Luxord's real name, I'm gonna be slightly salty that his and Demyx's names aren't Dolur and Dyme (Dollar and Dime).
What are the chances luxord has a connection with the master of masters. Much like how luxu is the masters eyes luxord could be his ears. when the master disappeared no one knew where he went. Sure we see him talking to xehanort in re:mind and of course dark road but where did actually go when he vanished.

I would actually identify Loki with Luxord, more of a mischieving actitude, changes bodies, grey morality and played the rol of Odin's aprentice wich is similar to his son
This might be a stretch, but Xigbar and Yozora kind of use similar weapons. They shoot out beams from their unique mechanical crossbows. Ok perhaps Yozora’s weapons aren’t exactly the same, but some of his fighting styles and attacks are. Idk what do you think? Maybe there’s a connection? I don’t even know why Braig / Xigbar used crossbows in the first place. The lore doesn’t match up.
Oh boy, if Marvel is in the next arc, it would be interesting. I can't wait to see Luxord in the Void and meet other variant of Loki, it would be neat if the theory you came up with is true.
While I am curious as to Luxord’s true identity, I’m more curious about one related detail. Since Xemnas said he’s also tied to the ancient Keyblade legacy, I’m wondering if his true self has a Keyblade/ what said Keyblade looks like.
His name im thinking is either Rudol or Dulor And im 100% under the belief that we will see him and Demyx in missing link. Xemnas said they also have a link to the ancient keyblade legacy. Missing link is the era right before scala become what we know today. The white city with islands. What if he and Demyx are part of another group of weilders that also used pods (this time created by brain) to survive the destruction of the world
That's what I'm thinking. With bloodlines supposedly being explored in Missing Link, I get the feeling we're gonna receive a lot of connections between Union X and the Dark Seeker arc.

I always wish that the origins of the O13 members had been explored in Days. It can be a bit disorienting playing that, KHUX, BBS, and then Lea/Isa having more added to their backstories in KH3 to learn about everyone (and KH3 felt like the story was on speedrun).

I thought we already knew his name was Ludor... Which is just bastardized latin for "gamer"/"player"/"gambler". Scala Ad Caelum is also bastardized latin, so there's a precedent. Also, the "d" in Lodurr is pronounced as a "th", so it should sound more like "loathe-ewer"
When I hear Odin I think of Final Fantasy gods and when I hear Loki I think of Star Wars.Too bad I no interest in Star Wars even if it's put in Kingdom Hearts IV.
I Say AGAIN that was not a keyblade war! Everybody just sat there and it felt like they used every fan theory for the ending. Kh4 pls bring back my hype for this franchise
