Luxury Cars Manila : 2023 Ford Ranger Wildtrak 4x2 

Just saw this video randomly on RU-vid. I have a 2020 Ranger XLT FX4 i live in California. 2018-2023 rangers here only have one engine and tranny. It’s a 2.3 turbocharged 270 HP stock and 310 lbs of torque stock. Hauling and towing is about 6000 lbs same as a F150. Mine already has 63k miles on them in less than 3 years. I take this off roading on weekends and did cross country driving multiple times with no issues at all. The 10 speed tranny can be jerky when new bevause the computer is still learning how you drive the vehicle. These trucks are absolute beast. Mine was tuned by ford which gave me an extra 50 hp and another 100 lbs of torque.

Watched a lot of reviews and this one has the most good points about the 4x2! My friends were also questioning me why I chose this car (which is 4x2 and not 4x4, because my parents will use this and they are living in an underdeveloped place as their retirement house and also we have business there), but if you compared it or drove old car models of ford. You would definitely understand why ford chose these changes. I drove an old model ford ecosport and raptor before. and boy oh boy! THIS WILDTRACK IS SICK! sooooo smooth to drive while test driving it and the comfort! and felt really hard with the design! As a woman, it made me feel macho. Haha! Good review sir!

Just purchased one last october 7 with the luxxe yellow 4x4 wildtrak and indeed it is a head and eye turner. Everything you said in this video is on point and accurate. Haven't tried to maka a curve that would make a body roll but I have faith in this truck. Great review as always Sidenote: Just had a long drive around Bohol island and was doing about 60-110 kph and about 60-80kph on curve road and I can fully attest to this that you can't feel any bodyroll on the truck. Really reliable and very confident on the build quality..

I've been watching your reviews recently. What I really like about your reviews is that it's between driver centric and mechanic centric, not the others na mas madami pa ang pambobola sa sasakyan kaysa sa kung ano magiging experience ng driver sa sasakyan haha. And your review also mentioned about the 10speed tranny issues of ford before, the engine size, 4x2 vs 4x4 decision, shocks, etc. which is really important for viewers to note. Kinda glad you've uploaded one for a Wildtrak 4x2 as I'm currently doing my research on Rangers (stuck on wildtrak 4x2 or sport 4x4 lol) and other brands before getting one by year-end or early next year haha. my friend got this car, I'm 6'4 and I sat at the back and I still had leg room, that kinda shocked me as most of the time, I dont get much leg room in the back seat of cars. But this ranger is different, great car over all, might ask for this for my 18th bday but maybe the new raptor is worth the wait

i used to own a sportrac and suddenly it popped in my mind. 6 speed is just perfect, ford really had a hard time with the 10speed issues.

This new Ford Ranger has some dna's of the F150 specifically the F150 Tremor with those colored stitchings and wildtrack emblems. Also the Dna of a Mustang Mach E the fully-electric vehicle with its center console. Just my personal opinion it would have been nice if it has the 3.5L twin turbo like the one in the F150's. 400hp/500lb/ft of torque 😅 Overall, I like the new redesigned Ford Ranger. Hopefully I could see one here in Canada since GMC and Chevy just released their newly redesigned GMC canyon and Chevy colorado Zr2! Like the quality content you are producing. Just subed! 😀

Sport 4x4 suspension surprisingly nice for truck setup, handling is so light.. So far am very satisfied with this car, let's see in the long run..

As a Toyota fanboy, gusto ko itong honest review ni king panda na bumibigay tlga ang transmission ng 10 speed Automatic trans ng ford... legit yun kaya wala tayong makitang 15yrs old na ford ranger masyado sa kalsada. Parts availability nalang tlga ang wala sa Ford... tipong parang Mitsu and Toyota kulang nlng pati sa mercury makabili ka ng parts.

solid review boss!

Having driven the previous biturbo 10 speed automatic and the new gen everest, I can tell the transmission and response has improved dramatically. Not perfect but I’d take the more quiet and crossover like engine than a truck like engine of the mu-x/dmax and terra/navara tapos grabe ang nginig at ingay. I drive 95% in the highway anyways. Tthere are of course reliability issues but I’ll cross the bridge when I get there😆

ive been debating on to get the 4x2 or the 4x4, but due to your review im falling in love with the 4x2 more

This kind of truck is for city use, maybe province na hindi hills. Mahina ang HP and Torque. But the price is good, affordable pang masa. Lagyan mo ng offroad tires to pag mag bundok ka, baka makatulong but the horse power is a major roadblock.

Mr. King Panda, I would like to ask you if this 4x2 could be use as a daily driver if it's use from Cordillieara mountain to the Lowland with normal load. Would it be enough without going to the 4x4???
