I've got the Addiesdive with a black Nato strap. Been in the sea with it, wear it daily. Great lume, keeps time perfectly. Just under 40 Euros. Can't go wrong with it.
Best overall watch here is the Cronos (but the newer version). Glide lock clasp, excellent finishing, doesn’t have the goofy San Martin logo and all that for less.
I recently picked up a Cronos , but it is not much if any nicer than the $99 watchdives homage, at some point the cronos was selling for $225+ but I was able to get mine for $169 for the full lume bezel version ,but I think the glide lock is it's only tangible advantage, though the clasp itself leaves much to be desired. The clasp on the watchdives homage is very similar to the san martin clasp
I'd say Cronos followed closely by the San Martin. The only reason Cronos gets the lead, Is because of the Pt5000 movement and clasp. However the new San martin sno19 would be the winner hands down if it was in the line up 👍
Best comparison on these homages. Interested how the olevs and steel dives tank up. Yet to finish the video but from what I have seen Chronos and San Martin are at the top.
I'm surprised that your didn't get a Steeldive SD1953 as part of the comparison. I recently bought one for £70 (incl.Tax) based upon various reviews (including some comparisons) and I have to say I'm literally blown away by what you get for the money. Fantastic build quality (at least on mine..) and great lume. The revised milled clasp is a huge improvement and even the strap is better than expected
Surprised that you didn't discuss the movements other than the obvious quartz one. I have the PD Batman and Aquaracer 1668 and both are amazing for the $.
I really like the chronos and san martin. My experience watch wise are Mido, tisssot gentleman and v8, Longines and orient. Are the cronos and san martin close in overall quality?
The San Martin is, one of the best constructed watches I've ever owned if you can look past the sharp case and bracelet. The Cronos is not as heavy duty but is still very good.
AddiesDive aka SteelDive. All things considered, I thnk that the Pagani is the best of them. It offers great quality but incredible value as well compared to the others. It still maintains the ceramic bezel and sapphire crystal that make it elite. The blue on the Cronus is also really dull and uninteresing.
I agree with comment below, how were the movements completely ignored in a full comparison review....??? I just bought this one on sale with black on black dial and a black nato type band for $22.49 with tax and free shipping, didnt care about the metal bracelet so saved a couple bucks there - hard to beat that for raw no frills value.
I have a San Martin Rolex Submariner Homage and a Cronos Rolex Submariner Homage No date. My comparison ,my Pros for San Martin the case is nicer as case tapers ,the black on the San Martin dial is better. The Cronos no date bracelet is smoother no sharp edges ,Bezel feels nicer, but does have a bit of side play. If San Martin done a Rolex Submariner Homage no date apart from the sharp edges on the bracelet, it would be a better choice than the Cronos. I wanted a date Submariner Homage and a no date. I am still happy with both.
Hi Dave, does the Cronos have sharp edges to the lugs and the bracelet and case like the San Martin? I have the V3 San Martin and it’s built like a tank but the sharp edges are a real turn off
No the Cronos does NOT have sharp edges to any degree like the SM does. But the head of the watch (compared with the SN017V3) is not as comfortable. I would check out SN019 though, I think they may have reduced link thickness and improved the sharpness, but its very expensive compared to everything.
@@ATIWatchReviews hi Dave, thank you for the reply. I have considered the SN019 but the price and the lack of the glidelock now have kept me away, If Cronos fix their issue with the cyclops magnifier I will snag one of theirs. I feel like San Martin’s prices are getting out of hand now,
You forgot the most important part of a watch...... it's time keeping accuracy. I have the Pagani and it's certainly not perfect, but when you said the lume was better than the Addiesdive, i laughed. Pagani's lume is atrocious. I also have the Addiesdive and the lume is HUGELY BETTER than the Pagani. The Addiesdive is also SIGNIFICANTLY more accurate though the clasp is just horrible, whereas the Pagani strap and clasp is excellent (after a bit of grinding and smoothing down those sharp edges). I prefer good accuracy so these auto movements just don't cut it for me. I had to regulate my Pagani as it was gaining around +17s PER DAY (which is garbage), but now got it to around +5 seconds (which still isn't great).
I know all about the accuracy of these autos which are poor as I've also noted many many times. It's pretty obvious a quartz will be more accurate at cheap price points.
Also, being too stupid to regulate an automatic watch doesn’t make it a poor movement. It just proves the point that you’re stupid. Now I am talking to you.
Dan sepertinya anda sangat kesal dengan addiesdive yg sangat indah itu terlihat ketika anda mengambil pagani secara hati hati dan addiesdive anda mengambilnya secara kasar dan emosional😂😂😂
@@ATIWatchReviews thanks for the nudge. I just purchased the pagani. The main reason was because it was available on amazon prime with 2 day ship. San martin would require a little more patience of delivery with a 2-3 week ship.
Addies winner for money and kwalitas dan sepertinya anda membohongi diri anda sendiri bahwa ada homage yg lebih murah yg dapat mengalahkan 4 jam tangan yg lebih mahal itu ayolah saya merekomendasikan addiesdive kawan🎉🎉🎉
