Luxury fifth wheel walkthrough- Luxe Elite 42RL Luxury Fifth Wheel - Product Review 

I’ve owned RV’s my whole life. I’ve had travel trailers from 20’ to 40’, 5th wheels from 30’ to 40+’ and class A’s from 30’ to 43’ and I can tell you that this is the most beautiful, functional and well built unit I’ve ever seen. Unless you go the Prevost way, I don’t think you can get much better than this. You did a beautiful job hitting the more important points and while I decided, with my last 5th wheel purchase, that it was the best and final, now I’m not so sure. This is worth a look in person. Wow what a great Rv, and the people at Luxe have one great presentation! The woman in this video is so dang awesome at what she does. I was informed, I was impressed and walked away wishing I owned this unit. It is so important to know the product you are presenting thoroughly like she does, it was absolutely effortless for her to describe in great detail all the benefits a potential buyer would be receiving. Luxe is so high end in every single way from product to employees! Great Job!!

I've been investigating the fifth wheel scene for almost five months. At first I was set on the Elite 44 (46) FL. Have been talked out of it because of the length and the fact (now hubby is gone and I'm by myself) I don't cook as much as I use to. After some truly PAINSTAKING deliberation it has been narrowed down to the 42RL. Wow, gorgeous with still a great amount of room in the kitchen for storing things. I really do love the "On Suite" atmosphere that the bed and bath area have. Really great. Wonderful job Ms Schmucker. Because of your knowledge and attention to detail you answered any questions I had and made me realize that this would be perfect for me and my needs. Oh, and buy the way, how does "Golden Ribbon" sound for a paint color??

I originally thought the Dishwasher would be unnecessary, but the wife really wanted it, and I'm Very Glad we got it. It works great! TIP: You just gotta remember to adjust your water heater to be in the "ON" mode instead of the "ECO" mode which is where we normally keep it to save LP. But it only takes 2 seconds to adjust the water heater switch when doing Dishes or Washing Laundry.

The newer wider fireplaces with the rock look really nice although we really like having the extra storage space on both sides of the fireplace for full time living in the RV as shown in this model, as these storage areas are very deep.

I wish more rv tours where done like you do them. Calm, cool and collect. I enjoy how you show everything without getting overly excited. Also, beautiful coach. I wouldn't change anything in it. One question though. Where/how does the dryer vent.

The Companys that makes these, should also go into business with making studio appartments, all of these solutions could solve a lot of problems in a small appartment.

Does the new camera system integrate with the systems in trucks? I am planning on purchasing a Ram 3500, and it has the camera system built in. Just wondering if these cameras will integrate with the truck, or if you have to have a separate aftermarket screen in the truck?

Very nice presentation of a very nice RV. However, most American RV manufacturers are only offering one, maybe two, small solar panels to trickle-charge the battery. And even that is an option. Why isn't the American RV industry still not moving over to L.I. batteries and solar technologies?

Thank you for a nice walkthrough. I have some questions. 1. So I was a bit confused about the insulation of the roof. Is it also 3" thickness? Have the same R-value as the walls? Heat rises. And also a good insulated roof helps keep summer heat out. I'm looking to full time so important factor for me. 2. I did not get the full scope when you explained the heating. You mentioned that the trailer can also be heated by electric. Is this only.through the fireplace or also the main system? 3. Does it have potable water fill? 4. The yellow stairs to the door look a bit odd. Is this the real stairs or something temporary? How does it fold in or collapse? 5. Is it.possible to get a roof.rack on too? I am a ham and want to transport a sort.of large antenna on the top. 6. Great with soft self closing drawers. I'm from Sweden originally and this has been the standard the latest 20 years. Dont know why your.comoetition has not.discovered it yet. Noticed though that the drawers.in the pantry dont have it. Is it possible to install? 7. Range, is it possible to get it with induction cook top? 8. Fridge, any options here? 9. Batteries.. Li-On? 10. What are the electrical cables made to withstand? In case one would want to upgrade the wattage on the inverter? Would cables manage a 4Kw? 11. The built in solar prep, how many Watts of solar can it take? 12. Is it possible to have the ensuite door from the bedroom to the bathroom made a wall instead? 13. What's the best place to build a office space? Take out the sofa? Make the dinette deeper? Any suggestions? I work a lot from home. 14. Where is the LP gas locker? How many tanks? Size of tanks? 15. Where is the diesel tank for generator located and where is the fill? 16. Is it possible to get this model or something very similar in travel trailer instead of 5th wheel? 17. Are all lights LED? 18. You showed us the inverter position but is it a 2Kw or 2.5Kw? 19. Is it possible to run the AC from the batteries or only from external power source ? 20. What is the average power consumption over an average year of this rig (ballpark)? Once agian a company that make ugly trailer. Try using non gray non brown non black. Invest in a interior designer. This looks generic. Using top notch material will not sell if the design is not there. 160,000. This is not worth it !

Absurd === rvs do not have codes like housing -- they are cheap cheap cheap -- I would not give 15696.00 - for it. Airstream is the only good one --- and they are too high as well. I could buy a nice house for that kind of money.
