Luxury means different things to different people and different countries often take unique approaches to home design. The house is in Utah and is enormous by UK standards, it also has some features we don't use in home design in the UK.

Absolutely gorgeous and I loved the interior. I don't know why most luxury houses in the UK feel tacky, shiny and lack any cosy feel to them.

Even if I had the money I wouldn't want to live here, It's ridiculously big, rambling, and disjointed for my liking.

House is very nice; the “back yard” as we say here in the states, is just waaaayyy too ostentatious. You’d need a regular maintenance team to keep it up.

I have been in lots of building like that in the UK, they are called hotels!!! It’s a vulgar display of wealth but I certainly would not say no to it. I have relatives in Ontario Canada, and their average 3 bed houses are space a plenty, large rooms and good layouts. And they all have basements,so from an architects point of view why do we not have them here ? Cheers

The house is definitely American luxury. Especially the pointless gables on the front. Totally looks like the client insisted on some of them and the architect quite literally just put them there “Let me have all these features, pay no mind to cohesion” Edit: Although, I will say, being a Utah home… I guess I can see the “Prairie Modern” style that’s fairly common there being turned into something more traditional. But it’s still shoehorned and comes off as a checklist design.

A rambling assemblage of rooms and objects probably designed more by the owner than the architect. An owner with too much money and poor taste.

Definitely not a home I’d like! Too big & a major nightmare to keep clean!!! Who can afford to have a weekly all day cleaning CREW?? Or a live in housekeeper!! The Heating & A/C would be OUTRAGEOUSLY EXPENSIVE 😱👎🏼!! Definitely a big NO THANKS for this house👎🏼👎🏼
