I keep a stash of Nude Astral balm around - they have been on sale a lot for like $12 and that one I use throughout the day ... what I love so much is how the sheen builds so I will randomly look in a mirror and my lips look amazing just from the shine and gloss of it.

My Pat McGrath lipsticks also sometimes don't turn up. I find that if I push especially hard on the part that twists, it engages the mechanism. BTW I bought Lust Angeles because of you, and I just used Executive Realness!

The white patina on the Pat McGrath lipstick is supposed to be normal and due to the formula. I got Obsessed a while ago and it had it from day 1. In Italy, Sephora has a statement on the page, saying that the white patina is normal and due to the formula (I assume several people complained).

So satisfying! I did a small declutter recently too. A couple of the Tom Fords went bad. Others (Chanel, Hermes) I just hated the color and they were taking up up valuable real estate. 💨

This was the "nudge" I desperately needed to declutter my own lipstick hoard! For 2021 I'm going to try, very hard, not to buy products I will only use a handful of times. I'm becoming acutely aware of the wastage and feel I must be more selective and mindful. Obviously, as a YT'r you won't have the same restraints as it's your job. ☃️🌲☃️

Pat McGrath does some beautiful products, but for the price you pay for them, that is really unacceptable that you can't even twist some of them up. I would expect much better from such a high end brand.

@@MsBNoodle - Yes I did. All of my Pat McGrath, most of Tom Ford, YSL and a ton of lip gloss is gone. Some of it was so old and just taking up space. If it didn't smell fresh it left the building. I have realized I will not wear any lipstick/gloss that smells/tastes like perfume no matter who makes it. Actually felt so good getting rid of stuff that I did my foundations. I'm only keeping stuff I really really like and use. I have way too much makeup for a regular person.

What a collection!!!! When you have so many different shades of lipsticks across so many brands, how in the world can you pick which red to wear with a dress or which nude lipstick to wear with an outfit? Just wondering...would it not be easier to organize by lipstick colours - reds, browns, mauves, purples, berrys, etc? Maybe they will be easier to identify without remembering the names and to use them more from the different brands!!!

I have the same problem with patina with my Pat Mgrath lipsticks like you with Divine brown, but I bought them less than a year ago..tbh, with all those bullet mechanism issues, I am not sure if they are such a great quality and worth it in general :(

I would check your lip glosses from Pat McGrath if you bought them at launch. Mine have started to turn from that original launch, and the smell is off on some of them.

Right ladies!! so easy to clean bullet lipsticks, glosses are different, but bullet lipsticks clean razor blade, give it a nice shave like you said, good as new!!

Love your Pat collection, but pat lippies have nice longevity, i love her trio sample set, i get the experience of colors and formula and actually finish the ones i love to buy a fill size. I can’t declutter $38 lipsticks.

She didn't! I was looking out for Guinevere since I have it. It's a really nice, deep red, but I haven't worn it that much since it seems too dramatic for everyday.
