You rebels, you! 😂 👮♀️😎 Harrods it is! Weeeeeee that elevator looked cool but definitely vertigo-inducing. I don’t think I’m super-afraid of heights but there’s probably a limit…. That elevator 💯 reminds me of the MetaQuest VR game/experience where you ride up a skyscraper elevator to the top then “whoosh” it opens to just a wooden plank midair & you decide to walk onto it for some reason. First time I squealed & clung to piece of furniture nearby. Took me two tries to walk out to the end; and that was me kneeling in the elevator then crawling the plank. OMFG I am an adult! I was laughing AND kinda-crying sincerely.🤣
These security policies really get on my nerves , absolutely ridiculous , so pleased you and The Lion had a lovely time. The Pharrell stuff is horrendous tbh , getting away with murder as we say in Glasgow. X
Another luvverley vloggy-vlog!! Made me very nostalgic as I lived near Marble Arch (three traffic lights up, off Edgware Road) easy walking distance to Selfridges and Bally. Would imagine that Sears Tower (now Willis Tower) would not be on your ‘Things To Do’ list if you were in Chicago. It’s 110 storeys and top storeys can bend up to seven inches - you can feel the sway on 103rd floor viewing deck. Took my Mum up there - she came over ‘all peculiar’ and required a large brandy, for medicinal purposes, when we got back on terra firms.

I find many cities are rubbish at weekend breakfast, especially in the business districts, have to wander to the shopping parts for even a sniff of coffee. I guess letting people film can be difficult for 1. guarding customers privacy or 2. are you part of a gang taking footage for thieving purposes? Must’ve looked shifty that day 😉. OMG, that elevator! I hate getting told not to film in stores so I've just stopped doing it. Not that you should stop (you're great at it), but that was my decision because it makes me uncomfortable. Sorry about the flowers! Can't wait to see what you got.
That elevator was RIDICULOUSLY fast! YUCK! Yeah, I'm not good with confrontation so it's knocked me more than I thought it would. They weren't horrible towards me, I'm just not good with it. I feel so silly for leaving the flowers in the loo! 💖
I agree, it's a bit shortsighted of them to stop an influencer from filming. Perhaps they had some celebs shopping in there, who wanted privacy? We haven't been to London since December 2019. There are times I wish I knew my way around it so I could explore a bit, but mostly the crowded streets are a turn-off for me. ❤❤
Celebs (the big ones) tend to shop out of hours. I agree London's crowded & hectic, I really felt hemmed in this time (by the buildings, mostly) because I'm so used to seeing so much sky now! 💖 xx

Is it weird I was most excited about the ducks? I was all set to buy a bunch after Meredith's vlog, and was sad to find out they only ship in the UK! So cold...maybe you need some socks? Maybe I can send you some Darn Tough socks from Canada, in exchange for ducks? Just kidding....(sort of).

It blows my mind that any store would ask someone not to film. You're literally influencing people who watch your videos to shop from that store (online or in-store). Bonkers that they would treat you (a customer) that way PLUS miss out on the extra sales from people who would watch a shopping vlog and be enticed to shop.
To be honest, I could’ve watched more city walking and ducks and waffles and plastic ducks than spy filming at Selfridges. Rules are rules(!), I know, I know but it’s true! ;)
