I think this series has paired the people up really well in a way where the "kids" have learned from the families they joined. The people in this episode are so beautiful - inside and out. I hope Sasha gets the emotional support she needs from her parents. The mum has done really good job of decorating her house and making it her own. With her entrepreneural spirit I wish her all the best of success - today it is antiques, maybe tomorrow she could be flipping houses. Her kids were so well behaved too, so she is a great mum as well.

I see a great sadness behind Sacha's eyes. Many times parents compensate their absence in their childrens lives by indulging them with material things and money. This may not be the case in her life of course, but shopping doesn't equal happiness.

Yeah i agree... she has no relationship with her parents. Spending time with Juanita remind her wonderful memory from her childhood. 😢 her dad judt give whatever n doesnt ask anything. It numb her that her life style is very unhealthy. Imagine if her life suddenly change n her dad no longer around... i hope she really change her life style in a long run. Cos she seems a nice girl, she needs more love n attention from her parents. Hope this show helps the family to really change. Sacha's parents need to step up!!

It is not middle class everywhere else in the world. To live off benefits is still poverty; and living off benefits is the next step up the ladder after homelessness, which is a major problem in the first world too. It wouldn't be safe for rich kids to go stint in homeless shelters or urban streets.

I think it’s more about showing them what the other side is like so the rich people are more understanding and don’t assume people on benefits are lazy like this young lady did before this experience. It’s like a learning experience, not about making them feel badly. At least, most of these episodes of this show I’ve seen have been about what I said. The narrator is snarky, but the people involved are usually trying to learn and teach each other about other ways of life.

People can do their own hair and nails. I used to do mine all the time. I worked a min wage job. It looked just as good as a salon. You can buy brand name things cheap second hand. Phones are pricy but everyone needs one it's a necessary thing. Most people can get affordable plans. People should not judge based on outside things.

A lot of poor women do their own hair and don’t go to salons. Many do their own nails or occasionally treat themselves to the nail salon. Phones are necessary now days for many jobs and other things. Some jobs require more than flip phone. Like you don’t know their life. Some places also give discounted smart phones to the poor

Poor is on a scale… you can be poor and live paycheck to paycheck to paycheck, have a home, and a job. You do not have to be homeless and jobless to be poor. Check what the poverty line is as far as income. How do they have income without a job and/or benefits?

I don't understand the point of this show- teaching people with essentially unlimited funds that it's not "necessary" to spend the amount they do is pointless. They don't spend exorbitantly because they think it's necessary, they do it because they can (and have no need to seek better value). They may appreciate the insight into another person's life and even be more thankful for what they have, but they don't need to learn to budget!

Some of y'all need some basic lessons on economics. Just because you own things doesn't mean you don't live below or exactly on the poverty level. For a bachelor it's 190 pound a week or less, for a couple 299 pound a week. Now imagine a four headed family (Kids). Ya'll need to educate yourselves.
