What's amazing is that the prices per sq. ft. that you're citing in this video (at least for the Lumber Liquidators LVPs) have gone up by 50%+ since then (two years, as of March 2023). You stated $3.00 and $2.50. The same flooring from L&L is now $4.79 and $3.99 respectively. First Covid, and now inflation, are taking such a financial toll on everyone. But, thank you, great video.

Any hard surface flooring will likely scratch with these kinds of tests. Gouging is different than normal scratching. Get felt pads for furniture. Carpet is fine, too, but harder to clean, especially for spills, which are far more likely than kids digging keys into your floors. But carpet is the quietest flooring and you're unlikely to damage it moving furniture. Even carpet could become damaged from gouging with keys or something sharp. Of course, each person's or family's needs are different.

Not really a blind test if you flip it over before you start testing it and read the label.. 4:39

This is stupid!! Even porcelain tile will get scratches if you purposely do it like that..

Anything less than SPC, 20 mil, with an aluminum oxide finish isn't worth touching if anyone is wanting LVP. Shop around. Lumber Liquidators and Lowes/Home Depot are garbage for flooring.

Meh. So who would expecting to do ALL this to THEIR floors?? YOU need CONCRETE if you do damage like that in your home!
