Dang, I typically enjoy your videos Shea but this one was kind of unpleasant. It felt chaotic and a bit tone-deaf. I’m not interested in either products, but if you’re here to guide/help those who are, at least be transparent about the price and where you got them. Otherwise, it can just come off as: Look at me look at me!

I'm also a jewelry girl, started in my teens. Throughout the years I realize that less is more when your out and about in today's climate. You may want to have replicates made of your favorite pirces, for travel and shopping trips. A safe at the bank and at home (one that can't be picked up and taken) are always a good policy. Wearing faux diamonds is fine for the purpose of not wanting to lose the real thing, but for the purpose of safety a person that wants to rob another with a large diamond isn't going to know the difference and might do harm in the process. It's best to just not wear any diamond or just a simple gold wedding band when traveling if safety is the concern.

FYI re Hermes. The bag has lifetime warranty on every aspect of bag…except the handles. Hence the twilly. Be sure to get a couple, wrap them on and ur good to go. Also, use the bag!! I have one - her name is Sophie😂- and for yrs she’s been on a pedestal for me to just smile and coo over. Now, screw it. I wear her out with cut offs, a tee and flip flops. Whatevs. I love her and pet her and she makes me happy. Totally superficial but rn that’s saying something in this crazy world! Oh, and when I first got her I put the raincoat on…felt like a royal idiot. No clue where it is. Ha!

So my confusion with “reselling” these bags is that you have to have your own massice audience to actually gain. If you just offer your bag to fashionphile or therealreal they will offer to buy it from you for crazy cheap - you will actually loose money. 🤔 I considered to sell my 8 months old gucci bag to them (retail 3,200 CAD). They offered to buy it for 1,200 CAD. So I did not sell and gave it to my mom instead. Unless you have platform or network of your own, I don’t see how one can sell designer items and gain. May be I just suck at selling 😂

I’m glad it’s not just me with the upgrading. I’m 22 years in and have upgraded 3 times (5, 10 and 20 year). I actually kept all of the originals. Jewelry is my thing too. My upgrades had everything to do with maturity and growth in my taste for diamonds. I love all my rings and I wear them all. Not at the same time. Lol…

My engagement ring is a round diamond, just under 3/4 of a karat. It’s beautiful and flawless. It is mounted in a 6 prong mount. In the past, the mounts have caught on clothing and have broken off. I’m surprised with your ring being almost 4 karats, it’s in a 4 prong mount. If one of the prongs breaks, it’s possible your diamond could fall out. Our jeweler highly recommended a 6 prong vs a 4 prong. Your ring is very pretty. My hands and fingers are so small, I could never pull off a diamond of that size.

@@elizabethterry This is not a limited edition bag so no way she ll make tones of money out of it ,especially if she is planing to wear it. Potentially if there’s like only 3 of these in world (and she is not planing to use it) she could sell it to a collector. However this color/material… is just basic. If she is talking about inflation then all my cheap bags were great investment since prices went up. At the end of the day people can do whatever they want with their money, I am just tired of the same excuse every influencer has “I got it as an investment “ Just say I like it and I can afford it !
