now I spent too much time looking at various godtier analysis but here we go (also heads up this is a long one): Luz is most likely a Witch of Breath (tho analysis of a lot of classpects fits her as well, such a breath thing); Breath represents freedom, individuality, adaptability and it manifest in having a lot of varied interests and hobbies, just like luz, while Witches tend to be rebels who at first are confined in their own aspect by their opposite aspect but then learn to control and manipulate their aspect, just like Luz starts as someone with no friends (Solitude being a negative aspect of Breath) because the people around her find her weird (these people could represent Blood). Hunter is a Seer of Blood like straight up, this is a fact of life; Seer's are more of passive observers and they tend to be denied their own aspect By their aspect and end up being engulfed in their opposite aspect at first. Hunter, being a Seer of Blood means that he was deprived of the connections and bonds with kids his age by his uncle (a "Blood" relative) and thus lived in solitude. At the end he came to understand and make friends with the hexsquad. Gus would be a Mage of Mind; since Mages at first suffer from their aspect but in turn it helps them understand it, just like Gus would have panic attacks where he would be trapped in his own illusions, came to understand his power and use it, for example, against Belos. Willows is maybe a Page of Life; since Pages at first start their journeys as lacking in their aspect but covering it (normally with another symbol of their aspect), just like Willow is a late bloomer who struggles with abominations (literally struggles creating Life) but then finds herself thriving in Plant magic (plants being a obvious symbol of Life). And for Amity I actually have no idea; I read through some possible classpects but wasn't convinced, maybe there might me some Class/aspect overlap with her and the rest of the hexsquad, but I didn't want that so I just looked through the remaining classpects.
Expanding upon this, Eda to me had always felt like she'd be either a Doombound or a Lifebound. Doom for matters such as the Owlbeast curse and the entirety of suffering it caused her, and suffering tends to be a signature of the aspect. Not to mention the fact that she was willing to sacrifice herself multiple times to keep those around her safe (if only partially on account of Eda's Requiem), and death is also very much linked with Doom. Then again, Eda also shows quite a bit that could indicate that she's tied to the Life aspect, such as her incredible power (Both Pre-S1 finale and Post-Hooty's Moving Hassle), her agency, her affinity for breaking the rules, the way she was able to nurture and help others grow, etc.
I have to disagree on all points. Luz is a Page of Blood, with a Dersite Lunar Sway. Pages have incredible potential, but a long, arduous journey to realize it. They meanwhile inspire their aspect in others, allowing them the time they need to build up to their climax of power. Part of their journey often involves a difficult overcoming of denying their inner self to external forces in a way tied to their aspect. Being Bloodbound, Luz inspires strong relationships between those around her, but always feels as though the outer world cannot truly understand her. Once she overcomes this barrier and realizes she can be understood, and that she is understood, she gains great power and a new bond, in the form of Stringbean. Later, in the fight against Belos, the bond she forms with the Collector when saving them leads her to The Titan, and the bond she formed with him throughout the series by bonding woth king and respecting the isles gives her the final boost of power she needs to attain her destiny as a fully realized Page of Blood. Likewise, Blood is metanarratively tied to the idea of a character-driven story. When Luz is the dominating force of the episode, the narrative (metanarratively associated with Breath) tends not to moveuch, but rather be an exploration of of characters and their relationships to themselves, other characters, or things and ideals. Q.E.D., Luz Noceda is a Page of Blood. I won't go into detail on the others, but Edalyn is a Witch of Breath, Lillith is a Maid of Doom. Willow is a Knight of Space, Amity is a Sylph of Time (but when we first meet her, she's performing the role of a thief of light due to Odalia's influence), and Agustus is a Seer of Life. Hunter is an Heir of Heart, and Belos is a Prince of Void. Though I am a bit too busy to fully analyze, so I'd be willing to consider changong my mind on amy of these but Luz, Eda, Lillith, and Hunter.
It's tempting to say Luz is light because that's her theming within the context of the Owl House, but if you're thinking about her in terms of Homestuck terms, she's more tied to the concept of hope. She used to struggle with facing reality practically which is a recurring theme with hope players. She regularly deals with the idea of well placed faith vs delusion/deception. Then there's the stuff she internalizes about placing faith in ones self. The "light" she represents is the potential in people.

I agree with this video. I actually think Luz is a witch of light. These could be the hexsquad's classpects if they were playing sburb (some of them can fit various classpects). Luz: Witch of light, witch of hope. Willow: Mage of life, Sylph of heart. Amity: maid of time, heir of mind, prince of doom, seer of void. Gus: page of breath, page of light, bard of void, seer of heart. Hunter: knight of space, prince of rage, heir of blood, knight of blood. Vee: thief of void, rouge of life, maid of hope.
As a huge classpect nerd, I have to share my headcanons: Luz: Heir of Light. Besides the fact that she is literally light, this aspect's main concept is seeking knowledge and comprehending things (Luz's "I want to be a witch!" thing). Heir is a class whose carriers get protected by its aspect, so Heir of Light would be blessed by knowledge. Glyph magic was exactly that kind of blessing, as Luz recieved an opportunity to study witchcraft. Hunter: Prince of Breath. We know that Prince is a destructive class and Breath is an aspect of freedom, independence and lack of responsibilities. Hunter destroys these qualities in himself in order to fulfill his leading soldier's obligation. He goes through a classic Prince arc and ends up replacing destruction with deconstruction. Amity: Knight of Mind. Knight is an interesting class as it has many interpretations. According to its canon carriers' actions and personality, Knights are characterised as someone who is deep into their aspect, naturally knowing how to use it. Also it is observed that all canon Knights wear some sort of mask and pretend to behave the way they consider cool or more socially acceptable (Amity's image as a selective one). Meanwhile, Mind is an aspect of rationality and decisions. Amity is a sensible individual and often seen as a voice of reason. She always looks for the best way out of trouble and tends to rely on objective reality around her. Willow: Maid of Life. Maids are often seen as people who are literally "made of aspect": they are embodying it, dedicating their free time to things associated with their aspect. Life is considered an aspect of nature, biology and destiny (in a more broad interpretation). Willow is a plant witch (her name is a plant as well). Moreover, Life is often associated with mother instincts and we know Willow's role as a mom friend in their group. Gus: Page of Heart. Pages have a lot of unreleased potential hidden inside of them and Heart is an aspect of individuality, intuition and quirks. Gus is younger than others so his true abilities aren't fully explored even by him. He is an illusionist and illusions are usually seen as a metaphor of lies and hiding behind a mask or pretending someone you are not actually is. We can say that Gus is currently looking for his identity. Vee: Rogue of Hope. Rogues are known as someone stealing from an aspect for their and their friends' good, they also tend to lack their aspect before the SBURB session. Hope is an aspect of beliefs and empathy, some sort of a placebo effect. Rogue of Hope is a person from a miserable place with few chances of a good life, but in the process they get more and more, em, hope. In the end they are very likely to rise up, like it happened with Vee.
Inhales… Ok hear me out. Luz and Gus are two halves of John. Amity is just Rose with a character arc lesbian and all. Hunter is Davesprite(cause of the whole being replaced ideology) Willow is Jade and I’m tired of pretending she’s not. Belos is a combination of Bro’s abuse and Condesce’s presence. Eberwolf and Darius are Nepeta and Equius respectively. I’d put Eda under as Roxy because of her surprisingly good mom moments. Although in the beta universe Roxy wasn’t as good as she wanted to be, she at least gave a shit, unlike Jake.

@@jasonlu9562 I don't think prince exactly. Princes destroy their aspect or through their aspect, and I don't think Gus necessarily causes harm using his illusions. I don't know I'm really torn on this one. Also Raine would be a Bard. There's no way around that one. Probably Bard of Breath.
I got bored a while back and started drawing Homestuck characters as characters in the Owl House. Roxy as Eda, Dave as Amity, Casey as King, and obviously John as Luz (I want to draw other characters but I need motivation first) I called it the Cat House, because instead of an Owlbeast, Roxy was cursed with a BatCat (literally just a Panther with Bat wings). But as I worked on it, it made me realize just how similar some characters actually are to each other
witch of light is funny to think about but i'm pretty sure luz is some sort of breath aspect. i am still not sure for her class. blood is also a possibility?? especially considering the most recent episode, willow is ABSOLUTELY some sort of blood player (shackles and bonds, leadership, relationships??) i am totally considering rogue of blood and you should be too. i really dont remember the intricacies of the classpects rn but gus is definitely a light player. maid of light?? something like that. excess of knowledge, having it hang over his head--problem is he doesnt have much a problem with relevancy besides his stage fright/his...track? maybe?? idk you think of it amity i feel should be really easy but i'm blanking?? a thief of some sort, maybe?? thief of life (life is power, abundance, wealth... could relate to her trying to live up to odalia's expectations??) meenah is also a thief of life but i like to pretend she doesnt exist for peace of mind hunter: IT'S DIRK ALL THE WAY DOWN!!!!! okay well maybe not but there is no way in hell that man ISN'T a hero of heart what even. his whole THING is grappling with Himself and who He is and what his relationship with Belos is and the fact that he is clone of a dead man come onnn. i could probably figure out the class but im tired and ive met my Thinking About Homestuck quota in conclusion: all of you are Wrong and i'm Right
@@primalseraphim ehh, yeah, but even then i'd much prefer to call hunter a knight or a maid of blood (or thief, but i would probably be killed for saying so). both classes feature the player suffering in fear/under their aspect (dave hates fighting, aradia is literally dead, jane's life has been controlled by the condesce, and latula... uh. i forcibly made myself forget about the dancestors.)
So i know Luz's class being witch makes sense. But due to her evolution throughought the series from being able to do /nothing/ with magic, to being the embodiment of glyphs. Luz is a certified PAGE, not witch
gonna put my cent here Luz: Witch of Heart cse her uniqueness and fountains of expressions is painfully obvious. She easily know her originality, interests, wishes and shows them and manipulate but kinda ignoring other opinions about it (it's more about her attitude in school in her world). She's very, VERY passion about implementation of wishes but need to notice and deal with opposite aspect as well - Mind (like if she wanted to be a witch and cast spells - she needed to THINK and figure out how SHE can do that , and interesting part about that - she did! Moreover, she did that in unique way then others!). I also pay huge attention to her wish at the end "I wanted to be understood!" cse it's so Heart-kind wish - with all uniqueness you have you really want to be understood correctly by others not just blamed as "weirdo". Amity: Made of Mind cse she was controlled by other decisions and statements (by her mother and "friends") and she was ignoring a lot of emotions and her actual wishes (opposite aspect). Then she became more calm with Heart and made a progress in Mind ( finally made up with Willow and did everything fairly). Gus: Knight of Hope cse he uses illusions (aka ideas of objects/people that do not exist and fakey) as a weapon and he often did illusions just for fun. However, he sees in his potential more bad things then good (moment where he lost in his illusions and tried to come back to reality) and covers it with optimism. Willow: Rogue of Breath cse as I saw at the beginning - she didn't have to aggresivly manifest her will (cse it's destructive) and at the same time didn't have to obey under others (cse it hurts her). Rogues often kinda hide their aspect thinking that it's embarrassing to show it but turns out it's actually good. Yes, she balanced the relationships in group at the end but I see it more like Rogue class in action. Eda: Heir of Blood cse she has huge talent to impress everyone in positive meaning. Her rival wanted to date her and she confirmed that it happens often. She's a strong leader but not a commander - like a friend-leader. However she's not interested at first in her aspect (she didn't know that Lilith was scared and jealous about her talent , she pushed away from her memory stuff about Rain and etc. ) but often showed interest in will and freedom (Breath aspect). In the beginning she was lonely hero with her curse but then accidentally met King and later - Luz, and I assume it's Blood aspect reminded her about itself. Then she has strong connection to Luz and Kind and even with her sister and Rain - her love.
What is up with the Homestuck explosion recently? Usually it was only like one or two videos a year, now I am getting like 3 a day. All relatively new too?
Since I don't see anyone else mentioning it, I'll add my two cents- I think Luz and Belos would be the two master classes due to being polar opposites. Luz would be the Muse and Belos the Lord. Aspect wise, Luz fits more with Hope, as she inspires Hope in others and helps them bring out their full potential. Belos, I'm not entirely sure. I would say Doom but I feel like that's too obvious 😂

Theres some readings on RU-vid, Voxus has done almost the entire comic, they're still going though, it's just voice acted homestuck if i remember correctly. RevScarecrow also did a full (like 98%) blind (you probably know more than him because of your brother) reading of homestuck for charity. Just wanted to let you know there were other ways
