Great comparison! I think the palm spring mini is more trendy and it’s not as easy to find items. I love my pochette Métis. It’s so organized and I can see all my items at a glance. Thanks for this. 🙂

Great comparison , I own both of these but my pochette Métis is in the reverse monogram canvas , I have to say I definitely use my Palm Springs mini wayyy more . I’ve been carrying it now for about a full month ! It’s just so carefree and comfortable . I also never thought I would carry it as an actual backpack , turns out I love carrying it as a backpack ! I also love using my monogram pochette Métis strap and I attach to bottom left d ring and top right d ring and I sling it to the back like a 1 shoulder backpack sling , if that makes sense lol ! I don’t know why I haven’t been reaching for my pochette Métis much lately , but I definitely get more compliments when I carry my pochette Métis . I think people love that it’s something different than just regular LV mono canvas ! Thanks for sharing , you always do a great video ! Happy Easter to you and your family 🐰🐰

Nice comparison! I feel like you get more in the PSM if you fill it "bookshelf" style (side to side) as opposed to the back to front method.

I couldnt decide so I got both but if I had to choose itll be the palm spring. Reason being because of its versatility. Crossbody, backpack style or handle and lightweight. No vachetta no worries. The pochette metis over the shoulder, crossbody and just by hand. Vachetta I worry. I love the mini palm spring I bought the mono and reverse.

I got the pochette metis last year and love it, not only beautiful but so practical. That backpack is the cutest ever, maybe one day... wonder if the straps will be too long for me. I am only 5.4.

Pochette métis is that bag I love to hate 😅 I’m always going back and forth on whether I like it or not. Also, there are so many canvas and leather options that I’m inconsistent with which one I prefer. Me and my PSM will be okay 🤣

I have both and the Palm Springs is more versatile and holds more. The divided sections in the pochette metis make it harder to fit wider items in it and the drop is a little on the high side for me (I’m 5’6) when I wear it crossbody. It works better as a shoulder bag for me.

Your videos are great! I have been trying to get one made in France/Spain PSM. I’m not super picky. but watching several videos I see a difference in the handle positioning. I like the handle more centered in the top middle. Being patient. Did you purchase yours online or boutique? BTW- Forgot to ask.Where is your PSM made? Ty LOVE the PSM!!! You are so thorough. The best.

Hi! For the water bottle issue, several companies make flat collapsible water bottles. I use one when I travel. It’s a liter, and it’s in my tote, but they make smaller sizes if you’re looking for a something more compact!

I attach my key cle to my mini palm spring D rings (outside of mini palm).. I put small hand sanitizer inside the key cle so I dont need to open my bag too often.

I am on a hunt for the PSM. I too skip a 💜beat when it’s made in France. However I’m having a hard time finding one made in France. Can you mention boutiques in NYC that you rec. a SA? I ordered 2 PSM....But had to return. Craftsmanship not up to the standards. And happened to be made in USA. Any suggestions. I respect yours. Thankful🙏🏼 I’d love to pass it down to my daughter as well.

Hi Shana, I still have the Pochette Metis and wear it regularly. The Palm Springs Mini backpack didn't work out for me so I've since let it go. It felt a bit "too cute" and generally, I found the backpack style not as comfortable or easy as crossbody. Hope this helps!

I came here like I had an emergency situation 😂, so 3 weeks ago I went to the LV store to buy PSM but they did not have it, however I saw the famous Metis. I was tempted to get it but I went for PSM and placed a request for order. Today, they came to deliver it to my house as we have a lockdown at the moment here in Bahrain. I tried the PSM on but the straps were to long to wear as a backpack, literally the bag was below my bum. I tried removing the small straps but it was such a struggle to do so, so I ended up sending it back and will wait another 10 days for their shop to reopen and see how they will adjust the straps for me. But honestly, I was kind of disappointed with the straps and also how tiny the bag was. Now, I am considering of getting the Metis instead but still undecided at this point.

I thought of getting the PSM because of it's versatility, I could really style it and match it with many of my casual outfits. I already have Neverfull MM, Speedy 25 and Alma bb, all in damier ebene print so I thought I really don't need another dressy, work/smart casual type of LV bag, you know what I mean? Can you match Metis with all types of outfits? Thanks alot in advance. Xoxo

The Palm Springs mini was an impulse for me and it didn’t work out so I quickly let it go. I’m just not a backpack gal afterall.
