Amazing all those people knew each other from the canyon in cali..( not to mention barneys beanery, the whiskey, palomino, etc etc....and from gene to csny, buffalo spfld, mamas n papas, etc etc, they all knew each other
In Ian Dunlop's terrific book he describes going to the grocery store and seeing Jim Morrison or Mama Cass. And being invited to David Crosby's house to hear a tape one of the Beatles had sent him of a new song not yet released. Seems to have been a Petrie dish of talent, and look what we got from it! 🎶
