Why is it every time I see a bunch of these adverts it feels like I only last saw them days ago. They must be so ingrained in my memory. Either that, or I'm just still happily stuck in the 80s. Thanks for uploading these!
Man, I forgot how much LWT rocked on a Saturday night. The A Team, Cannon and Ball, Punchlines and 3-2-1 in one night. That’s a proper Saturday night in front of the telly right there.
Loved those Saturday nights around the telly with the family. Usually accompanied with a Corned beef sandwich (Sunblest bread probably) a pack of Monster Munch and a slice of Battenburg cake. Heaven! Didn't help me figure out those bloody 3-2-1 clues though.
'The A-Team' episode being shown was the second half of the two-hour story 'The Bend in the River' (third season). Sticks in my memory that one of the then-regular cast members, Marla Heasley (Tawnia Baker) is written out at the the end of the story when she's married off, but that final scene was edited out for time; U.K. viewers had to wait until the Sat 13 Dec 1986 repeat (in two hour format) to see the final scene. ... I didn't claim it was a useful memory!
Crikey, that Game of Knowledge board game was a bit steep price wise at £17. 95 for what is essentially cardboard and a few dice!😮 I had Yahtzee as a kid in the late 80's, early 90's, never knew how to play it and still don't!! Oh well, least I wasn't out sniffing glue!😂
Worst Christmas present ever, you couldn't even walk normally with it, as it would skip and mine was a Sony so not completely naff, only became useful when the cd player broke on my stacka system.
