Y'all act like pepper sprays and pocket knives aren't a thing. 😂 Plus not everyone has a means of transportation, their only option would be for the guy/girl to pick them up from their home. Amber also could've driven to the restaurant and just met up there with the guy if she really didn't want him knowing where she lived instead of making up lies upon lies each time they went out.

Yes you can give a stranger your real address and yes maybe he’s totally normal and safe. But in the off chance he’s not, you just have to be wrong once and you can be in a lot of danger. If you want to give your full trust and private information to a random dude you just met at the grocery store, I would strongly advise against it. Not everyone you meet is entitled to your private information on the first date. Once you vetted him a little more I can understand telling him you gave him a fake address but not before you even know if the guy is safe or not. I hope you learn this lesson before it brings you any harm.

When I get super nervous I forget how much easier it is to just tell the truth . In that situation he would have understood why you initially told him the wrong address . Probably even could have laughed about it. But I totally get why it didn’t seem so simple in the moment
