Over all its a nice rugged tool. Though it has some quirks to deal with once you dial your self in with it you can really prime shell casings all day with how minimal of an effort is needed to seat those primers.

The issue I had with the Hornady unit was the fiinish inside to bore the plunger worked in, the plunger was catching on it, number of other people did too. Lyman had an issue with the length of the plunger pin for a bit, they were replacing them. Folks need to keep bugging 21st Century to build one with a tray again.

Lead poisoning from reloading? I have been reloading and shooting for several decades using lead never wore gloves.. When I was a kid, I carried lead pellets in my mouth for shooting my air rifle....No telling how many lead pellets I swallowed from eating wild game..I still use white lead for lubricating my lathe centers..Soldered with lead for years, cast bullets from pure linotype... I will be 66 years old in October, never had any hint of lead problems....

May be you didn't have any consequences, or may be you didn't connect some illnesses you had with lead poisoning. But it is very likely that you poisoned people around you, specially kids. High levels of lead on blood while childhood can create tumors when they are grown ups or older.

Same here, but today’s men are betas, they are raised by their mothers and have become totally vagified and afraid of everything. My grandparents lived from horse and buggy days, through automobiles, lead pipes, leaded gasoline, lead paint on and on. Both survived and lived into early 100’s. Something to be afraid of is anything the government says is fine, food pyramid and vaccines are two good examples.

I agree with you on using gloves while reloading. Lead poisoning is really slow, and consequences vary from one to another. So it's best to fail on the safe side.

Using an apron is not a bad idea also. Lead traces can stick on your clothes, and then you go to contaminate your kids and family with those.

@@Russell-1 You are handling brass, that might have traces of lead if not super clean.

What depth are you seating your primers at ? Factory shells are 0.004" below flush. I get better groups with 0.007" below flush. some like 0.008" to 0.010" below. You got about 0.013" to 0.015" below flush before you bottom out.. Better to go lower for floating firing pin guns. (AR's, BLR's ,BAR's) Frankford Arsenal Platinum Hand Priming Tool can be adjusted to 0.015 below flush..

I like the 21st Century Priming tool. Especially that it can do double duty as reamer and pocket uniformer. But I dislike the idea of having to place the primers individually. It to teadious of a job. Attention 21st century engineers make it with a primer tray and violla you'll have a hella of a product!

Worked ok for about 500 primers. the plastic primer guide balled up and is now not capable of centering the primer. Disappointed in the product

I bought this because I had replaced my old round lee primer that broke. First I bought the new lee but it sucked bad. cap popped up and let primers flip etc. I love this tool
