Order "Live At Knebworth '76": mercury-studio...
On August 21, 1976, Lynyrd Skynyrd took the stage at Knebworth as part of a daylong festival which also included Todd Rundgren’s Utopia, 10cc and The Rolling Stones. The show has gone down in Lynyrd Skynyrd history as one of the band’s greatest performances. The 1976 Knebworth show features Ronnie Van Zant’s iconic vocals and their famed triple guitar attack of Gary Rossington, Allen Collins and Steve Gaines in front of a crowd estimated between 150,000 and 200,000. Their entire performance from that day is here for you to witness the classic Lynyrd Skynyrd in all its glory with cleaned up visuals and remixed audio, available on DVD+CD, Blu-ray+CD and DVD+2LP.

Yes, it's true but Ronnie was also scrutinizing every bandmates performance in every possible way and detail. if they failed in the slightest...that bandmate would get an earful from Ronnie after the show...FO SHOW! Ronnie was a perfectionist and even insisted they bow to the audience at the end of their performance. The politeness and extreme respect to the audience was not only a very old school homage but also a tribute to their parents' Southern upbringing. There was no just walking off the stage with a little wave at the end of the show...No Suh! They understood exactly what their fame brought to their lives and didn't take their fans or audience members for granted. Another reason, of many, to just love this band from my hometown of Jacksonville, Florida.

Zeppelin 2 times, Doobie Brothers, Alice Cooper, Journey, Reo Speedwagon, Fleetwood Mac, Rush, Allman Brothers, Greatfull Dead, The Who. Some Trend started most bands opened saying ( HELLO BUFFALO ). Buffalo people like there Music almost every concert sold out. Some concerts got out of hand because of very little Security. Buffalo is not a Popular City, mostly because of all the snow we get, not kidding almost every winter Lake Erie dumps 10-12 feet. Also are Bars are open till 4am, lots of people blame that on Buffalo has a big IRISH Population. ALWAYS WHITE CHRISTMAS IN BUFFALO. Forgot Buffalo has a name ( SNOW CAPITAL OF USA )
