I too went from a Govee to Lytmi Govee had issues with white balance 'cos it didn't have a white LED in the strip. The Lytmi does and with the HDMI feed, the combined difference is huge. It's a lot more expensive, but worth it.

I deleted my last post because I finally got my Fantasy3 working... My question is whats the best wall color behind the tv to get the best overall effect? Or what colors should i avoid?

6:13 my TV is mounted on the wall, leaving only about 1 centimeter between the wall and the tv. Do you have any idea what it would look like if I somehow manage to stick them (nearly) perpendicular to the wall right behind the edges of my tv? This really does look promissing!

This is an interesting product. I don't have a use for it currently though, as like you I use a AV Receiver with multiple HDMI inputs, and I use a DIY Solution called Hyperion-NG. The LED's I used were good quality, so the double sided tape has lasted for over 4 years so far. If I was doing it again now, I would consider this product though as the pricing is similar to waht I paid at the time. Products like the Fantasy 3 are more appealing now as things like Raspberry Pi's are not as easy to get at the moment, where as a RPI use to be cheap to get back when I did Hyperion.

Yea. I considered the Hyperion route. It just seemed more work than an off the shelf system. Although if Hue was the only choice it would be Hyperion for me.

I currently have all my devices connected to my AVR. How do I use my devices with the LF3 while still getting the audio from my AVR? Optical cable?

I just put the LF3 between the tv and the AVR. So the HDMI out from the AVR goes to the LF3 and then from the LF3 to the the tv. I don't use the TV speakers so all the audio just comes from the AVR and the video goes to the LF3 and then the TV

If using the multi HDMI ports, does it auto switch device in any way or is it manual only? Can it be changed via tuya/home assistant? I think I read once it lacks CEC which is quite the miss imo but if I can somehow supplement it with Home Assistant that may plug the gap and make me buy one

How it work with in-built ott apps

I'm not sure on that one. I suspect it would not work since you are not sending the signal out to a TV.

It's useless with HDR and dolby vision and most stuff is either one or the other these days.

Hmmm. Works fine with my HDR.

@@SlackerLabs I would be interested to see a video comparison from you with HDR on and HDR off. In all honesty, HDR is bearable at times but Dolby Vision is laughable.
