I think you shouldn't say that North American music is not as deep in the lyrics, as Maneskin is. I don't know how it is nowadays, and you are a young girl, but people like Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Leonard Cohen, Patty Smith, Paul Simon etc... all were real poets recognized as such all around the world. I am Italian and I wonder if good American country rock is dead. I hope it is not...

yes all those artists were poets in their songs, im a spaniard and followed italian music for many years from their rock and blues, and jazz, but especially their opera arias like puccini, verdi, rossini, masgani etc. im a rocker who loves genesi, pink floyd, procol harem etc but the italian music is on another level my opinion the language is meant to be sung . you have missed singer like lucio dalla , vasco rossi, gianna nannini , im sorry but the reason italian music hasnt hit hard like english its because of the language but believe me . listen to mina with her sultry singing with cielo dela stanza used in the movie the goodfellows.

In questa performance che non avevo mai ascoltato, Damiano è sottotono, canta calante e alla fine del brano sforza la voce per la parte di chiusura, spero che il suo personal coach lo raddrizzi bene poichè negli anni 80 molti cantanti sono diventati afoni o stonati, vedi Jon Bon Jovi... ai posteri l'ardua sentenza

Marlena è la musa ispiratrice ma non è una donna, è riferito alla musica. Nel testo "marlena torna a casa" parla della sua difficoltà a comporre testi perché ha perso le ispirazioni. Comunque Marlena è tornata e anche con prepotenza.
