"Mångge Chamorro?" by Sinahi Benavente, Stacia Guzman and Pedro Blas 

The second video in the "Na'lå'la' Music Series (Vol. 6.2) is now live!
Here is "Mångge Chamorro?" by Sinahi Benavente, Stacia Guzman and Pedro Blas. Sinahi Benavente is the granddaughter of the late Ed Benavente who wrote this song and was also a strong advocate for Guåhan's independence.
In 2022, Independent Guåhan invited six Chamoru performers to share their reasons for believing in an independent and decolonized future for Guåhan, and a song to give power to that vision. Mighty Island took their words and their wonderful music to create the Na'lå'la' Music Series (Vol. 6.2)
In October and November 2023, every Monday we will be releasing a new video from the series. Follow us on social media to watch them and also learn more information about why decolonization and independence are natural and necessary for Guåhan's future.
