Mick: I'm Just the guitar player in the band...What a humble dude. His guitar playing is the biggest foundation of this band yet so down to earth and simple. RESPECT...
I agree with you that thanks to Mik they sounded more powerful and aggressive and most importantly his style is memorable and for true fans of his performance he will like✌✌✌✌😎😉
Dont know anyone..who didn't love regis.. if you ever told tommy..hes son Brandon. Would knock him out some 24 years later..he wouldn't believe you. Motley crue..biggest band of the 80s..coming out of so. Cal..
Haunz Pettwemen You must be new to Motley interviews. Nikki has always done the majority of the talking. Another thing, since you call Vince fat and bloated, you have a perfect body. Right? Who you think you talkin to? Rap crap. LOL
Mick mars is 1 of the best guitar players of his time however I believe mick did not care to have the spot light as well all know he is a believe it or not shy and likes to be left alone he has said it in interviews!
I hope this is sarcasm, that was a total abortion of an interview. Harassing Mick Mars, one of the best lead guitarists of all time, while he's suffering from an illness? Then playing a lame children's song on the piano to a heavy metal band, Regis sucks.
I think Mick is a truly underated gee-tar player. I actually love his style. Take "Too young to fall in love" for instance, that's a well thought out song.
This band is definitely in my top five of the most special bands that I grew up with . I loved songs like Looks That Kill, Home Sweet Home, and Live Wire, but the song Wild side is the song that really got me to become a huge fan. This reunion in 1997 was very awesome for me. I had just graduated high school and I finally got to see them live on this tour. I met all four members and all of them were really cool, but Mick Mars was by far the coolest and friendliest.
Regis was such a great entertainer, and I think there is creativity that happens when each band member creates the songs and videos. In addition, I think their level is knowledge is underestimated.
I love these guys. Proof that through all the hard times and bullshit these guys still pulled it together. Much respect, I grew up listening to them, and I still jam their music.
People don't understand the absolute brilliance of Regis. If he sensed that a guest was uncomfortable or out of their element, he would make himself look like an ass, (to put the person at ease.) That's how he got so many great moment's.
1997 was a great year to be a Crue fan. Vince was back. They were looking great and playing great. I saw them in 97 and 98 and tried to go in 99 but my friends were lamestains.
I freakin' love Regis! Such a fun interview! This is pure gold. And that might be the best behaved these guys have ever been for a 20 minute stretch! Come on boys, one more Tour!! Tear up the contracts!!
Back in the 80's & 90's it was not at all uncommon for interviewers from an older generation to have an air of condescension when their subject came from a more alternative background, but Regis was fantastic here & it resulted in a very good interview :)
I always have a soft spot for The Crue! My 1st concert ever, in Philly at 15. My friend got Tommy's cup with a bit of beer residue left in it and I got hit in shoulder with his drum stick and about crushed in the process. Nikki has always been my fave, looking back I don't know why...Thanks for the memories
Often in the past I wasn't always convinced Regis knew who the heck he was interviewing, but got to give him props, he did a great job here. I like how he recognized Mick as being quiet and kept bringing him into the conversation
Good segment. Alot of respect for anything that can hold together for as long as they have. Kudos to crue for being their own family. Thx 4 D mammories yall! Rock on!
@NikkiSixx-hg3wz Well, Well, WHY The FAKE CRAP! It's OBVIOUSLY! NOT YOU! Because you have KNOWN ME FOR YEARS!! I worked at CAPITOL in A&R back in the 80s in FACT! I helped with the show Way back at the T! I knew you all when ya first started! So this Clearly IS NOT YOU! 😝😝😝😝
Love Crue stuff from around this period. Nikki is wearing the same leopard print shirt here that he had during their late 1998 VH1 Behind the Music episode too.
@NikkiSixx-hg3wz Thank you so much. Always good meeting new people.Ive been a Crew fan for as long as I can remember. We all grow old gracefully. Sending you my love and friendship.
I know some bash generation Swine, but that seems too fast for love my favs. Blessed to have met Vince a few times and on his old VNI website, watched the dirt 20 times now. My son named Vince in 85. Greatest band ever and always in my book.
